Determining Fate

      
       You couldn't just sit there, you used the last of your strength to get up and fly after him. You were weak but you had to try, you could see the man far in the distance, but there was nothing you could do from where you were.
You started to black out and you fell out of the sky but was caught by a familiar strength. You know it was one of the fighters, but which one?
Vegeta you thought but said nothing.
Voice: Errrr... You reckless women! You could've been killed!
Practically ignoring what Vegeta just said, you thought about the man and somehow a name came to your mind.
Broly...
That's his name you thought and then images flew past your mind of the fight.
He WAS trying not to hurt me...
You thought.
He held back...
You thought.
It must mean something...
You felt.
You opened your eyes and jumped out of Vegeta's arms quickly feeling both weird to him carrying you and wanted to save... Broly. Suddenly, gaining your power back, you chased after Broly, who was probably long gone.
Vegeta: Errrr... where are you going?!
Vegeta chased behind you, but you couldn't let him catch you, nor could you answer him. You know he'd think you are crazier than you already are to him.
He was almost to Bulma's place and destroying a forest path as he went, making it easier to spot him.

Suddenly, you spot him gaining on Trunks and Goten, just walking. He was at Bulma's house. Bulma was trying to save trunks and as Broly charged up to destroy them all Vegeta landed in front with his hand out and charging.
Vegeta: I fear you no longer...this ends here...
Broly powered up more and you in weakness ran and stood in front of him breathing hard eyes squeezed, head bowed and holding out your arms
Y/N: Please No!
You were panting
Vegeta: Get out of my way!
Bulma: Vegeta shut up! Look here powering down!
The family behind you remained in silence and in the watch to hope you knew what you were doing. The irony of it all was you don't... you too hope you knew what you were doing.

Broly's Ki blast was still powered up and you let your head fall further down, you imaged what happens before. You flashed back for a quick moment.
Y/N: please... You don't have to do this... please. I...
You stuttered trying to get a strange feeling out so he could hear you.
Y/N: I don't want to be against you ...
You said weakly looking up to him, you noticed his expression changes, but not his position or the Ki blast that's near you and could possibly wipe you out in nanoseconds.
The tension grew stronger and it clenched your stomach in pain, you squeezed your eyes as you felt the pain and tension grow.
I guess it's too late to turn back now, you are at the end of something.

You thought, thinking of what Vegeta said.
