Avery's Scene

That's very weird. "Um... I'll leave first, sir. " I said to Gotham.

He nodded so I left the office quickly. I sat back at my seat and sighed. Angela... Mom did mentioned about a sister that was exactly like me, the same face, the same attitude but different person. She said that we both had the same brunette hair. She also mentioned that we had the same mother, but different father. Damn, how much do I wished to find my true sister. My twin. So I believed that I still had siblings.

I walked back to my house and put my bag at the sofa. Sitting down and staring at the ceiling, still thinking about this twin of mine. And thinking about this guy, Angelo Dominic. How I wished to know who this guy is. What does he want from me? Just because me and his wife look alike? I guess that's a yes.

Suddenly, the bell rings so I rose from my seat and opened the door. Then it revealed him. Johnny. My boyfriend from New York. I hadn't break up with him yet but we lived in different states. Now he's back for me. I don't even know what does he want when we were a couple at New York.

"Johnny... What are you doing here? " I asked.

"I missed you so much, Avery. Why don't you contact me? You know that you left me hanging at New York. Why didn't you find me? " he kept asking questions.

"Come in, I don't wish to let you stand out there. " I said. I let him in and closed the door. "Have a seat. Do you want some drinks? "

"No thanks. " he sat down, sighing.

"Okay. I'm sorry about leaving you at New York alone before. I didn't mean to ditch you like that. Sorry, I didn't mean it. But I wish that you can let it go. "

"That's okay with me. I only felt a little guilty for not coming to find you too. "

"Nah. Well, why did you come? "

"I come for you. It's already been so long since we've meet. I wished to move here and stay with you, live with you. " he said, holding my hands.

I thought for a moment before pulling away. "I'm sorry, Johnny. "

He looked confused. "Huh? Why? "

"I'm sorry. I don't think that we can move this a little more further. " I said.

"Why? We haven't break up yet! "

"No. It's not because of that. You're actually a very good man and your conditions are just perfect for every other girls. But I think that I gotta let go and live another better life by finding someone you love more and spend your time with more. But we lived so far away. "

"I can move here! "

"For how long? Your parents are from New York and do you think they'll come along? I've met your parents before and they say that New York is their favourite place. I also gotta stay here because I loved to work at Cygnus Enterprise, that's the place where I know where I should be. And you too. You got scholarship from college, you graduated successfully. You had charming and handsome face for other girls. You can't just waste your time for me. " I said.

"I did not! You're the person that I love and I can't let you go that easily! You're the one for me and that's final! " he said. He leaned in and kissed me, making me lean into the sofa. I tried to struggle out from grip because he was holding my hands tightly.
