(Author's note: so I never thought so many people would read my story! I know like 130 reads is nothing to most of you guys but I expected like 7 and thought I'd eventually give up on the story. But I'm not giving up and I have good ideas for this book :) )

*Mitch's POV

"So where are we going tonight?" I question curiously. "It's a surprise bae" He replies smiling. I smile back. I really can't wait for this date. "Well, I'm gonna get ready" I get up and go toward the bedroom to pick something nice out.

*Scott's POV

I watch Mitch walk away. Eyeing his body. God he was perfect. Even though he was just wearing sweats and a t shirt, he was still gorgeous. The way he walked with confidence and his perfect face. His facial hair made me go crazy. It really suited him.

I'm really gonna go all out tonight for him. He deserves it. He's been broken by past exes and I want to show him it's okay to love again.

(A/n: lol btw that phrase reminded me of the songs Show You How To Love and Love Again by Pentatonix. Just thought it was funny they both were in the same sentence)

Mitch comes back into the living room about 30 minutes later asking if he looked okay. I glance up and my jaw nearly falls off. He's wearing black skinny jeans with a nice belt, a light blue dress shirt-tucked in and unbuttoned a bit, and dress shoes. His hair is perfectly gelled to one side and he touched up on his beard. He must've put cologne on bc I begin to smell something heavenly. He does a 360 and I almost faint. His clothes were fitted perfectly to his body, showing off his best features. Like his butt. I blush at the thought of even thinking that. He was so handsome. And I was about to go on a date with this perfect man. I suddenly realized that I haven't said anything yet. "You look absolutely amazing Mitchie, like I'm in awe" I say smiling. "I can't believe I'm going on a date with such a perfect man" I add blushing. I look down at the floor. I hear him walk over. He brings up my face by gently placing his finger under my chin. He whisper in my ear, "And I can't believe I'm going on a date with a man that is the most perfect thing in this world" and with that he kisses my forehead. We smile and look into each others eyes for what seems like forever. Suddenly I say "I should probably get ready now. Be prepared to be surprised tonight" I wink and walk away.

*Mitch's POV

Scott walks out a little bit later. And my god did he look amazing. I wanted to just marry him right then and there. Wait, what? He's also wearing black jeans except with an orangish colored dress shirt. He unbuttoned his a little more than I did. His hair is perfectly spiked up and really blonde/white looking. I loved it. Scott and I were like complete opposites. He was tall with blonde hair and fair skin. I was short with blackish hair and a semi tan complexion. Also I had facial hair, which he did not. We were so different from each other-appearance wise. I think we'd look cute together. "Damnnnnn bae. You look amazing, more than I thought was possible" I feel myself blushing while saying this. I get up and walk toward him. I hug him suddenly. I hold him tight. At first he is surprised but then hugs me back, even tighter. I back away after a couple of seconds and ask "So are we ready to go on this surprise date of yours?" "Yup" he replies, smiling cutely. He grabs the keys off the counter, grabs my hand and pulls me toward the door. My stomach was full of butterflies.

They arrive at a very beautiful lake. It was about 70 out so it wasn't too hot and it wasn't too cold. There was a light breeze and birds chirping their familiar tune. "Oh my gosh Scott!! This is so beautiful and romantic!" He squeals happily. Scott smiles and says "Close your eyes Mitchie, open them when I say so" Scott walks over to the trunk of the car, opens it and pulls out a bouquet of roses, along with a picnic basket. He walks over and opens Mitch's door. "Open" Mitch opens his eyes and nearly screams from happiness. "Scotty, I can't believe you did this for me!" "Only the best for-" Scott begins, he's cut off by a phone ringing. Mitch frowns and checks his phone. "Oh, it's my mom. I should probably answer it really fast" Scott nods and Mitch answers. "Hey mom" After a few seconds his face drops into a sorrowful look. "Is he gonna make it?" Mitch questions, coming close to tears.
