over the next few weeks I try to keep a low profile. which is kind of hard considering I was now sharing a bedroom with ginny hermione and parvati patil.

along with harry neville ron and luna they all tried to take me under their wing and welcome me to the school.

I did alright in classes and tried not to make it obvious it was way to easy.

it became increasingly difficult when we were learning about human transfiguration and anamagi in class.

I noticed that draco had returned to repeat his 7th year having got off with being a death eater. he looked and acted different from what I remembered.  the war had taken the toll on him as well as my death.

it was on a saturday about 2 months into the year. I was sitting in the common room by myself. most people were out at hogsmeade and such but I had decided against it as I had homework to catch up on. the only people in the common room were a couple of first and second years that werent out enjoying the january snow.

I looked upfrom my homework to check the time to find harry walking by himself towards where the victims of the battle were buried. he looked upset and as if he needed the help of a friend

I sigh and get up from my seat leaving my stuff on the table I exit the room and run to catch up with harry.

I find him sitting in front of a familiar headstone.

I sit down beside him and look at the name. sure enough my name is engraved on it.

"thats her isnt it?" I ask softly "the girl you were all talking about"

he doesnt speak just nods.

"she died 8 months ago to this day. they all did. they were kids mia. they didnt deserve to die. especialy trixie. after everything she went through" he says close to crying.

"hey im sure she woukdnt want you crying" I say gently "I may not have known her but the way you talk about her she seems like that sort of person"

"your right" he says "she wouldnt want me to mope around"

"exactly" I agree smiling "now come on. lets get some dinner. im starving"

he huckles slightly at me before following me into the great hall.

the hall was deserted really.  there was noone left t the gryffindore  table a couple of ravenclaws and hufflepuffs and the only person at the slytherin table was draco.

"he doesnt go to hogsmeade anymore" harry whispers noticing me staring at him.

he looks up as we enter the hall and nods at harry who nods back.

we sit down at the gryffindore table by ourselves.

siting in silence we begin grabbing some lunch.

harry is still looking upset but I couldnt really blame him. he had suffered a lot.

"she was more than a friend" he finally says "she was something more to everyone. to me....for a while she was my girlfriend."

"you dont have to tell me" I say quietly.

"but I want to" he replies.  "you've been nothing but comforting to us and yet you dont know anythig about the war or the people that died. and I think you deserve to know"

"harry honestly. its fine" I reply "it'll be difficult enough if it was all of you. if its just you it'll be ten times harder" I try to reason with him. because I didnt want to hear about how he thought I was brave. or how he others died. because I was sitting here infront of him and I had been anything but brave.

"but I wont be alone" he replies "malfoy will helo me"

he waves draco over who confused walks over to us

"malfoy. I need you to help me explain what happened the night of the war" harry says quietly "mia meeds to know what happened"

"fine" he sighs in defeat before taking the seat next to harry.

for the next few hours they begin recounting the events of the nights leading up to the war.

im close to breaking down when they start talking about the deaths.

by the time they finish Im trying not to flashback.

but the next thing I kniw everything goes black as im sucked into another flashback.
