EMILY POV.
"DAMMIT ALI I LIKE YOU!" The room fell silent. She didn't move. She didn't say anything. She just stared at her feet. I meant to tell her another way. It came out so wrong. Dammit Emily. "Ali I'm so sorry I didn't mean to tell you this way-" But before I could finish she smashed her lips against mine. She pulled away and I was in shock. She smiled, and I smiled back. Before either of us could say anything I leaned in and kissed her. I questioned if this was really happening because it didn't seem real at all. I'd dreamed about this moment ever since we kissed in the library. The thought of it being real made me smile through the kiss and she pulled away. She bit her lip and I thought, wow that was hot.
ALISON POV.
"Let's do something together." I said, breaking the silence. "A movie?"
"Is the Alison DiLaurentis asking me out?" She sarcastically asked. It was so cute oh my.
"Why yes! That is, of course, if you allow me to take you on one." I sarcastically replied. She blushed right after and I bit my lip. She smiled at me and man, does she have the cutest smile ever. I could watch her smile all day. We sat there staring into each other's eyes for what felt like forever, but I wasn't keeping track of time, because I was just so lost in her eyes. God this girl drives me absolutely crazy. If only she knew what she did to me. I've never felt this way about anyone before. I've never had someone care about me as much as Emily does and I've never cared for someone as much as I care for her.
After staring into each other's eyes, I finally said, "Okay, but can we not watch a horror movie." She laughed at me. She knew I hated those.
"Anything you want." She said as she slid her fingers in between mine, and I let her. I smiled. She was the only person who could make me smile so easily.
*2 hours later*
EMILY POV.
I went back to my house so I could get ready for tonight. God I was so excited. I've never been so excited to go on a date before. I was so nervous. What if I made a bad move and embarrassed myself? What if I do something she doesn't like and I mess up everything? Okay I need to breathe. This is all just in my head. Ali would never judge me so quick. She said she's changed, and I believe that she has. I really want to text one of the girls about tonight but I decide not to. I shouldn't make decisions that affect Ali without her. If she wants to tell the girls then we will, but I don't want to do anything without her knowing. There has to be a level of trust between us. I don't want any lies between us. I'm going to make sure we don't go back to our old habits.
I heard my phone ping, and I'm guessing it was a text from Ali. She said she would pick me up because she's the one who asked me out. She said she'd be here in ten minutes, so I touched up on my makeup and threw a jean jacket over my sundress. I went downstairs to wait for the doorbell to ring, and sure enough it did a few minutes later. I opened the door and didn't even notice my jaw drop. There she was, standing there. She looked absolutely perfect. It was still a little bit sunny outside, and the sun shining through her golden locks made her blue eyes look so beautiful.
"If you don't pick up your jaw we won't be able to leave." She laughed. I blushed.
"You look.. gorgeous." I said after she laughed at me. She blushed and I saw her dimples start to form. God she was so cute.
"As do you." She smiled. We got in her car and drove off. When we got to the theatre we decided to watch this random comedy movie. I didn't really mind because I just wanted to be with her.
ALISON POV.
I picked this comedy movie that we could watch and I didn't really mind as long as I could spend time with Emily. We walked in the theatre and it was completely empty. We looked at each other and smiled. We went to the very last row so we could have the best view. The movie started to play and I passed the popcorn to Em. I honestly didn't want to watch the movie. If I could I would just stare into her eyes all day. Every so often I would look over at her and she would look back at me and smile. The last time she looked at me I couldn't take it anymore.
I ran my fingers through her hair and put it behind her left ear. I pulled her face closer to mine and kissed her. It was short and sweet. I pulled back and looked into her eyes and smiled. She smiled back and put her hands on my cheeks and kissed me. It was so much more passionate. It started to get heated, but nothing I couldn't control. We didn't even bother thinking about the movie and she continue to kiss me. She slid her tongue across my bottom lip, asking for entrance. I allowed her access and our tongues fought for dominance. I wasn't going to let her win so easily, but she did anyways. Before it got too heated I pulled away. I just stared into her eyes and tried to catch my breath while smiling.
"Damn Fields." Was all I could think to say.
