Surprise?

He wouldn't open up to me at first, but I told him that I was here for him and that Kayla was worried about him. That's when he finally told me that he had been having anxiety from youtube and couldn't handle it and didn't upload for a few days. But he told me not to tell Kayla... So I promised him I wouldn't.
Though he didn't know that I bought myself and Kayla  plane tickets to go surprise him and stay with him for a week. I had to help him in some way. And this was the way.
The next week I surprised Kayla with the tickets but I didn't tell her why we were going. So we got there and just to not ruin the surprise, because Kayla was getting suspicious of me, we went to go eat. After we ate I told them that I have a friend in town that wants to meet them, Ethan. We drove to Ethan's apartment and walked up the stairs. I knocked on the door and it opened gently and slowly.

"SURPRISE!!" I yelled. His face lit up and he almost started to cry. Kayla slowly backed away and covered her face because she was so shocked that I did this. I walked towards her and she immediately jumps into my arms for a huge and long hug. "Thank you Shelbs. I love you so much," Kayla told me with tears of joy running down her face. "You don't have to say thank you Kayla. I love you too and would do anything for you just to meet Ethan so here we are," I replied to her, wiping the tears of joy off her face. Of course I start crying and Kayla goes inside with Ethan and we go inside and I see Ethan and Kayla just waiting for me on the couch on opposite sides. So I grab Ethan's arm and drag him so he can sit right next to Kayla. He blushes so much and so does Kayla. "Tell her." I say to Ethan."Tell her what? What are you talking about?" He replies to me. I tell him "Tell her what you have wanted to tell her the day you guys started talking and about the other thing."
He finally tells Kayla everything about why he wasn't texting her back. He also told her that he loved her.
