After staying in Striaton City for a while, I decided it was time to move on. So, I moved on to Route 3, and to make my way to Nacrene City. Of course, it is hard to get anywhere without one of my friends challenging me to battle, this time Cheren. Cheren led with his Tepig, while I lead with Abraham. However, I was soon forced to switch to Joshua. Who, for obvious reasons, steamrolled Cheren's Tepig with Water Gun and the continued on to knockout Cheren's Purrloin.
Just as Cheren and I finished our battle two Plasma Grunts ran by. Bianca was chasing them, and explained to us that they had stolen a little girl's Pokemon. Cheren and I ran ahead to get it back. Cheren caught up to them before I did, they had hidden in Wellspring Cave. The two of us, of course, crushed the two thieves. Then two more grunts challenged us! This time me and Cheren battled in tandem against a pair of Patrat, our starters complimenting each other perfectly.
We defeated Team Plasma and Solomon even learned Leaf Tornado. The grunts tried, and failed, to explain that they were liberating the Pokemon. I nearly slapped them. Cheren spoke and said that they were wrong, that Pokemon and trainers working in tandem brings both to their full potential. I decided to explore the cave a bit as Cheren had offered to return the stolen Pokemon.
I ended up catching a male Roggenrola with some great potential. I decided to name him Samson. I soon discovered that he had the Sturdy ability and that he was very brave. I then found the TM for Thief. Which I taught to Abraham. I could not go far without Surf, so I left the cave and went to check on my friends. After receiving some Heal Balls as a thank you gift from the little girl, I returned to Striaton to heal before pressing onwards.
Upon returning to Route 3 and caught a female, Pidove. Whom I named Esther. I bumped into Cheren a little further down, who warned me of dark tall grass. Once I reached Nacrene City, Cheren met up with me, and gave me a directions to the Pokemon Center and some Chesto Berries. The town's Gym is Fighting type, according to Cheren, so I had better get some training in.
A/N I know I said this was on hold, however, I have been doing a lot of grinding in Moon to get a couple mons to Lv. 100, so I wanted a quick break. Also, the PWL entry should be up very soon.
