(CJ's POV)
Nico whispered something to Amber and shadow traveled who knows where I don't know why he left but after he did. Amber took me to go find Reyna. We found her at a coffee shop in new rome and Amber bought hot chocolate all around and we told Reyna the news. Reyna was thrilled that I got claimed but when we told her my father was Hades (Pluto I don't care) she was less thrilled. "Well I mean Pluto isn't bad its just, well Bellona would make a better parent." She said crossing her arms as if she was better than me because of her mom being the war goddess. "Well there's nothing wrong with Pluto either I mean look at Hazel she's sorta, kinda normal." Amber said in an unconvincing tone. I did get upset because its confusing enough and I didn't want to be judged by something I can't change. I set down my cup and walked out of the shop and towards the river.
(Ambers POV)
I could tell CJ was upset, Reyna was doing something she normally would never do, she was judging someone for their godly parent. CJ got so mad she turned a light red , set down her cup , and walked out. I was shocked but followed her to the river, she sat and I hesitated to go nearer. I walked over and sat down next to her I knew charmspeak couldn't help me now. "Want me to IM Nico?" I asked calmly. "W-whats that?" She said drying her tears and perking up at the sound of Nico's name. " oh IM stands for iris message you give a drachma a greek coin as a sacrifice for iris and you can basically skype with another person example Nico." I explained she agreed and I threw my dracma in the river.
(CJ'S POV)
Amber iris messaged nico so I could talk to him about what happened to Reyna and I was sad he had to go. He said he had to get something important and also he wanted to tell the seven about his new sister he was so happy and here I am crying because of my dad being an outcast. Nico's an amazing brother and I'm glad we're related.
