Chapter 13:Decisions

Most of the time, people have this habit of deciding rushly on things. They don't mind the consequences of their decisions. There are only two things that might happen when you decide on things, either you live with it or die with it. But sometimes, or most of the times, decisions are deceiving, or wait, the results of our decisions might not turn out the way we wanted it. But nonetheless, we must still decide and we should always stand with that, for when we don't, things will start to complicate in a way that we can't even untangle everything. Maybe that's life, we decide, we choose, who cares, in the end, we will still suffer.

"Could it be possible? We have been looking for her for almost eternity but here she is.", Shane couldn't stop looking at Karlmilla the second she started relating her story.

"Well, lucky us. We have a lot of stories about you, you have become an interesting subject for us.",as Steve started to look at her with so much leer.

They are now having their lunch in the dining area. Karlmilla couldn't help but think that this family has a huge wealth, and what amazing is that the house looked so elegant that in any part of the house, you can have your photo app.

"All I thought she is just a story. So I guess it will be easy for us now to find Vlad, and end his so called eternal life.",Shane said with so much anticipation.

Karl felt uneasy upon hearing the plans of Shane. Karl wanted to get rid of vampires but he doesn't like the idea of killing Vlad or Marco. Then she realized how she acted when Steve started kissing her, it was ecstatic but it's very wrong. She doesn't feel anything for him, she just owed something from him and that is her life. She couldn't think straight again and suddenly she was frightened when she heard what Steve said.

"If that's the case then we have to ask Karl to help us. We can use her to lure Vlad into our paths."

"I..I don't know if I will be able to do that. I feel so drawn to him. I can't let anyone harm him.",she stood as she was saying these words. She was about to leave when Steve held her hand.

"You are drawn to him? Yet you are here? Where is he when you were in danger?",those words pierced her soul as if it has never felt being whole before.

"Stories say that he had been too late to save his love, that's why she died. I guess you will be another casualty to this endless war againts pathetic existence of vampires.", Shane's words were sharper than Steve's. Karl couldn't help but sit down and listen to whatever madness will they say about vampires.

"Look Karl, life with them is madness, their existence is an abomination and it must be ended. Don't you miss your life before they show up? Don't you miss life? The real life?",Karl remained speechless to the words of Steve. She shooked down her head and started to remember life before. It was nice but she believes that life with the existence of vampires is priceless.

"How can she know? Maybe, just maybe, her whole existence was the mere reason why vampires existed.", that was too much. She can no longer hold onto her emotions and she has to stop this.

"Look! My existence has nothing to do with theirs! How dare you say those to me, you don't even know me!",as these words came from her mouth, she became frightened when Shane looked at her as if she was burning her soul, she wasn't sure what's happening, but she thinks, no, she sees and she's sure abput this, the eyes of Shane turned to red and then fire, and then there was darkness.

"Hello Karl?",Marco was so happy when he saw the number of Karl pop from his screen.

"This is Rafael. We have to talk. She left and I can't find her. Something is up, but I am not sure what to think anymore.",Marco enraged with so much anger when he realized that Rafael was the one on the other line.
