Zane's POV

I groan as I slam my hand against my black alarm clock going off. My door busts down as Garroth basically tackles me into a hug. "Morning, baby brother!" He says excited. I just roll my eyes, even though an eye is covered. "Why are you so excited? Either you're excited when you see Laurence shirtless or there's new neighbors." I say in an unenthusiastic tone. He blushes embarrassed, from me mentioning Laurence, but he pulls my dark curtains aside and pointed to the house across from us. A new neighbor? But.. Aphmau and Katelyn?!? Who's the pink haired cat girl? I thought. Garroth ran out, as I got out of bed and fixed my door. I closed the door locking it, putting on a grey t-shirt, and my black grey-ish sweater, and light grey jeans. I walk out and slip on my black sneakers. I grab my mask and put it around my face, hiding my freckles. I walk out to see Garroth and Laurence talking to Aphmau and Katelyn, while the pink girl looked left out and carrying most of the boxes. I decided to walk over to Garroth, but when I got closer, the girl dropped the box and the stuff spilled out. "Ugh, Aphmau~Senpai, Katelyn~Sama, I CAN'T DO ALL THE WORK!" She yelled. Nobody seemed to hear her besides me. I walk over and kneel down, picking up her stuff with her. She looked at me while I hand her some of this stuff. "Need any help?" I ask kinda politely. She smiles and nods, as I continue helping her.

Still Zane's POV

After I helped the girl bringing the boxes, I walked out, just waving to her. "Wait!" She says behind me. I turn to her, surprised, nobody ever told me to wait. "Yes?" I ask still surprised. She comes up to me, handing me a piece of paper with the house number on it. "Kawaii~Chan was wondering later on if you'd like to come over and make cookies with us. You can invite anyone, too." She says kindly. I smile under my mask and nod. She smiles and walks off, as I walk home. The guys stare at me while Katelyn grabs my arm tightly. "If you hurt Kawaii~Chan, I'll rip your throat open." She whispers to me in a cold, deep voice. She lets go and walk off, I can't help but shiver. She really is scary. I continue walking back and Garroth tackles me. "AGH! Garroth! Get off!" I yell straining. He hugs me tightly and I pull back from he grasp trying to breath. Laurence gets Garroth off of me as he holds his waist. I back away from the couple as I take a quick picture, and I noticed the girl, er, Kawaii~Chan was doing the same thing. Does she ship Garrence too? I as myself. I shrug as I saw them kiss. I try not to scream, not in horror, but in a fan boy style..? I look at Kawai~Chan squealing, and I smile under my mask. I decided to go back over, as I high five Laurence walking past him. Kawaii~Chan looks at me confused, but waves. "I decided to just come over right now, and the name's Zane." I say. She smiles, nodding, and invites me in. She quickly looks at her phone, and I notice she looks kinda sad from looking at couple pictures she took. "You okay?" I ask, placing my hand on her shoulder. She sighs and looks away. "Kawaii~Chan isn't sure if I should tell Zane~Kun, he might laugh." She says sadly. I do tend to laugh at stuff, but I was surprised when she said that. "Actually, I won't. You can talk to me." I say softly. She lowers her ears and turns to me, looking down. "Okay, she'll tell you... Kawaii~Chan always love shipping people, but every relationship Kawaii~Chan has, it turns out bad. Then I realize I can ship people, since it's almost my favorite thing ever. And.. When I ship people, I look at them, and always wonder if someone would actually look at me with the loving eyes they show to each other..." She says softly as tears roll down her light, pale cheeks onto the floor. I sigh and pull her closer, embracing her into a hug. She didn't flinch, she just wrapped her arms around me, crying on my chest. I didn't really care that my jacket got wet from her tears surprisingly, and I just place a hand on her long, pink hair, trying to calm her down. She looks at me with a weak, sad smile with shiny, sunny yellow sad eyes. "Thank you, Zane~Kun..." She whispers to me. I smile under my mask, seeing her feel better. "Heh, no problem." I say quietly letting go of her. My phone rings the ringtone "My Little Horsies" and I blush embarrassed and quickly end the call. "Zane~Kun, you like My Little Horsies?" She asks kinda seriously. I slowly nod my head embarrassed as her face lit up. "So do I! It's the best show ever! Plus, Pinkie Cake is the best!" She says kinda squealing. I stare at her, surprised. "Heh, Pinkie Cake is my favorite, too!" I say more happier. Why am I acting like this? I thought to myself. "Ooh, for Halloween, since it's coming up soon, do you wanna be male Pinkie and I can be female Pinkie?!" She asks really excited.

"You know what, I'd actually like that!"

"Really?"

"Yeah! I never really when cosplaying with someone though."

"It's okay! We don't have to do it! But, do you wanna cosplay as that for A-Con tomorrow with me?"

"Sure!"

"Yay!!" She squeals and tackles me into a hug. I blush and hug her back. My phone rings again, as I break out of the hug, I answer it. "Hello?"

"Ohhh, Zane!"

"Michi, stop calling me!"

"Nya~! That's not gonna happen!"

"Bye."

"Wha-" I end the call and sigh frustrated. Kawaii~Chan taps my shoulder, and turns around. "So, uh, Kawaii~Chan looked online and.. There's no costumes for Male and Female Pinkie Cake. Do you wanna, um, make the costumes with me?" She asks kinda shyly. I nod, and smile under my mask. She giggles and hugs me again. "I'll get the materials!" She says excited, running off. Why am I doing this? Is something wrong with me? Why is my face hot? Maybe I'm just burning up with a fever? No, that doesn't make sense if my heart's pounding fast...
