Chapter 2: A-Con (Part 1)

Kawaii~Chan's POV

I slam my hand against my alarm clock, yawn, and climb out of my pink bed. I check the time, and I rub my eyes. 3:00 PM?! I lock my door and slip my clothes off, putting on my costume. (picture above and yes, I drew it. If you were wondering) I grab my keys, and run to the living room once I unlocked my door. Looks like Katelyn and Aphmau are already gone. I run out to Zane's house, and knock on the door. The door opens, and to my surprise, Zane was actually wearing the costume! (again pic above) "Hey, Kawaii~Chan! Ready to go?" He asks. I nod and giggle. He hands me a black helmet with cat ears holes, and I look at Zane confused. "I see you didn't bring a ride, since you live right across, so we'll be riding my motorcycle." He says kindly. I blush a little, but I nod as we sit down on his dark black and grey motorcycle. We put on our helmets, and I wrap my arms around his waist tightly. Zane starts up the motorcycle, as I squeeze his waist tighter. "You okay?" He asks worried and in a little pain. I nod, "Y-Yeah.. I just.. Never been on a motorcycle.." I say sheepishly. "Heh, it's okay, I got ya!" He says holding my left hand. "I'm able to ride with one hand, so hang on tight, and squeeze my hand or waist if you get scared." I smile and blush to see Zane so nice to me and say that stuff. He starts up the motorcycle and we head to A-Con, as I rest my head on his back, squeezing his hand and waist.

At A-Con

Zane's POV

Once we got off, she was still holding my hand. I couldn't tell if she was scared or not, so I didn't bother to move my hand away. Once we got inside, we decided to enter the Cosplay Contest. She seemed really excited, which made me smile. I kept hearing people say, "Aw! What a cute couple!" And I knew me and her weren't dating, so I didn't mind it. Once it was our turn, we got up and did a little cute dance like everyone else. We got off and waited 30 minutes. Once they announced, me and Kawaii~Chan were really excited! We won first! We got on our platform, but after a few seconds, Kawaii~Chan ran off. What happened to her..?

Kawaii~Chan's POV

I honestly feel bad for leaving Zane behind like that, but I had to hide from someone. Someone pins me to a wall in the empty space, and smirks. "Remember when we broke up here?" The male figure asks. I keep straining, trying to be free from his grasp. "L-Leave me alone, Damian~Kun!" I say, struggling to get free. He slaps me across the face and sighs with rage. "You idiot! You don't say that to me! You WILL be mine, and get out of that stupid costume!" He yells at me. I close my eyes as the tears stream down my pale face, leaving my cheeks with a light pink color. "I don't think she's follow your orders, Mr. I Will Make Some Innocent Girl Mine." Says another male figure with a defensive tone. We look to the figure, and I smiled lightly. "Zane.." I mumble. Damian heard me, apparently, he turns around, sending a hard back hand slap across my face. I scream from the pain throbbing in my cheek, and I fall on my knees, covering the red cheek.

No POV

Zane stomped over to Damian and grabbed him by the throat. He digs his fingers in his neck and slams him against the wall. Damian stares at Zane with fear, and a bloody neck. "Okay... Okay.. I'll leave her alone.." Damian said weakly between coughs. He ran off, not turning back, and Kawaii~Chan stared at Zane surprised. Zane looked away, embarrassed, but he fell to the ground with Kawaii~Chan hugging him sideways. He noticed she was still in pain and crying a bit, so he sat up, and placed Kawaii~Chan on his lap hugging her. After a few minutes, Kawaii~Chan stopped hugging Zane, got off, and helped him up. She quickly hugged him, then pulled back. "Let's see if we can find the pony figures!" Kawaii~Chan says more excited and happy now. Zane smirks under his mask and chuckled. "Gotta catch me first!" He said playfully running to the figures. Kawaii~Chan quickly ran after him, both of them laughing. Kawaii~Chan tackled Zane at the figures, laughing. Zane joined in with the laughter, and they both blushed lightly. Kawaii~Chan got off and helped him up. They looked at the figures, and when Zane left to go check on Aphmau, Kawaii~Chan quickly bought a Pinkie Cake plush for Zane. She hid it behind her back, and Zane came back. Kawaii~Chan couldn't help but do a cute cat smirk, that caused Zane to blush. "What are you hiding?" He asks kinda seriously. Kawaii~Chan showed him the plush, and gave it to him. "Here, Kawaii~Chan bought it for you! She thought of it as a thank you for Zane~Kun!" She says, giggling. Zane smiled and hugged Kawaii~Chan with one arm. "Thank you, I love it." He whispered in her ear. Kawaii~Chan blushed but smiled. The sun began to fall, and people started to leave. Zane and Kawaii~Chan had to share a hotel room, so they raced each other to their room.

At their room

Kawaii~Chan got dressed in her bunny pajamas in the bathroom, and Zane had a black and grey plaid pajama pants, and a white tank top with the words "Pinkie Cake" bolded in pink in the middle. Zane was already in his bed, and Kawaii~Chan came out of the bathroom, getting on her blankets. Zane and Kawaii~Chan couldn't fall asleep, fore it was really cold at night, and they couldn't handle the darkness and the winter cold air. Kawaii~Chan kept tossing and turning, lightly making cat noises when she's scared. She sat up,, shivering. She heard rustling sheets, but didn't bother to look around. She felt warm, soft hands grab her waist and pull her closer. "H-Huh?!" She says quietly but shocked. She turned her head to see Zane, resting his head on her shoulder. "I saw you were cold, so I'm trying to warm you up." He said softly. Kawaii~Chan blushed but Zane's comfort was actually making her tired, and Zane and Kawaii~Chan were both warming up. Kawaii~Chan rests her head on his shoulder, nearly his chest, and fell asleep on his lap. She started to purr, a very cute purr, and Zane blushed. He set the purring, sleeping meif'wa down on her bed, and covers her up with the blankets. Zane blushed more, but he pulled down his mask and kissed her cheek. "Night Kawaii~Chan.. Sleep well..." Zane said softly and went to his bed, hugging the plush she gave him, and quickly fell asleep. Why did I kiss her cheek..? What is this feeling? Do I.. Love her?! But.. I only knew her for 2 days! Zane thought in his sleep, but he knew he was really in love with Kawaii~Chan..
