chapter 4

                  When I walked into my house and my dad came up to me and punched me to the ground then started kicking me I heard things snapping and cracking until the point I could not get up so I lay there and just tried to breath it was a little hard but I could still breath.

                 I heard the sound of cracking like wood was being broken then I saw someone's shoes and I looked up and saw shadow he picked me up but my bones started grinding together and I screamed but he just ran to the car and drove to the hospital he picked me back up and I screamed again.

                  Thats when the nurses heard and came running over with a gurney and he put me on it and said "I think he father broke some of his bones when he moves they grind together I am really worried about him please help him I'll pay for the bill."

                The nurse looked at me then him and said "okay and how are you related to him." He looked at me and said "I'm his boyfriend." They looked at us funny then took me inside. 

Shadow's POV.

                  When they took him to a room all you could hear was his screaming then in the middle of a scream he stopped and my heart was racing and I started crying and I think my heart was skipping a couple beats a minute and I fell to the floor.

                   The nurse came out and looked sad she looked at me and said "are you the boy that came with midnight?" I nodded and she smiled I felt my insides warm up by her smile because that meant that midnight was.

                    She walked up to me and said "he is okay he broke 7of his ribs and his right leg and right arm but he will be okay we put some castes on him and gave him some pain medicine and he is sleeping now you may go see him if you like and if you want you can spend the night he will be here for at least a week but he is okay so you may see him have a good day."

                   I smiled the biggest smile ever and walked into the room he had midnight blue castes and he was sleeping on the side of the bed so I climbed onto the other side of the bed.
