Chapter four

Bilkisu's p.o.v
Two weeks ago

"Ya maryam please try talking her out of this baba wouldn't have let her to do this ki yi mata magana" i said tears rolling down my cheeks

"Okay I would try talking to her" she assured me

"Please because its not fair this isn't what they did to you"

"Okay" she stood up and left
I couldn't help sitting there and hoping so I followed her but I stood by the door

"Mama pls try and reconsider she is still young" ya maryam said

"So?"

"She is not ready for this"

"I have made my decision and i made it since so nothing can change my mind so just go" she said

On hearing what mama said I broke down and left I didn't want to hear more of what she was going to say so i got back to the room and sat there after a while ya maryam entered before she could utter a word i spoke

"Don't worry i heard what she said"

"But I tried....don't worry everything would be okay just have faith in Allah"

"Uhmm"

Present day
"Go and get dressed" mama said as i got to the sitting room wearing a nude colored hijab
"I'm already dressed" i told her

"Is that what your going to wear" she said

"Yes"

She then looked away and continued watching

"Are you through with cooking?" She asked

"Yes"

I just sat down, after a while i went back to the room just as I entered the room mama called
"Na'am"

"Your friend is on the phone she wants to talk to you"

"Okay I'm coming" i said going back to the. Sitting room i then collected the phone

"Hello"

"Hello bilki it's fatima"

"Oh my God fatima" i was so excited

"I just got my phone today so I wanted you to be the first i call"she said then I laughed

"Hmmm are you sure" i asked sarcastically

"No I'm not" she said sarcastically "how have you been"

'Well I'm not fine my life sucks I'm getting married in two weeks to someone I don't even know'

"I'm fine" i lied

"Okay just wanted to say hi"

"Oh okay thanks"

"I'll call you later" she said

"Okay bye" she hung up and i gave mama back her phone and headed back to the room.

Ahmad's p.o.v
We reached kano by 5:45pm but we didn't go to their house because baba said it was already late so we would go to there tomorrow morning. So we went to my uncle's house uncle ahmad sani
   I finally saw haiza and maryam after all those years then i saw fatima i was so happy when i saw her she was all grown up the last time i saw her  she was so small and now she is all grown up but she hasn't changed a bit she is still a talkative if not worse.
         We ate and then i was taken to the guest room i took my bath dressed up and went to bed.
           The next morning uncle sani woke me up for salat i woke up and performed ablution then we went to the masjid.

After eating baba told me to go and get dressed i got dressed and we where now on our way to her house.

"Look ahmad i know you don't want this but please just try and be nice"baba said

"But baba you know......"

"Just be nice" he said cutting me off i then out a sigh

"Okay baba"i said

We finally got there, their house was quiet far and was not as bad as I imagined. we got inside I greeted her mum who was seated in the sitting room. She was so happy to see us. she told us to sit and make ourselves feel at home then she got inside and brought for us food.

"Mun gode am ma we have already eaten" baba said but she still insisted so baba ate but I didn't I didn't have the appetite 

"Let me go and call Bilkisu" she said smiling

'So that's her name'

She got back with her she was wearing a blue abaya with a black scarf. She greeted baba and i and then she left after a while we left.

I couldn't sleep that night all I could think of was Khadeejah i know i'm suppose to get over her by now but it was hard she meant everything to me I picked up i phone then i went to my contact and i wanted to dial Khadeejah's number but I couldn't. What was I going to say that i was getting married and hurt her feelings the more so i just forgot about it.

It was time to go back to abuja so baba insisted we go visit them before we leave we went and that was when i saw her yes her not bilkisu but ASIYA.
