Love is Blind

Awake

He blinks his eyes open. For the first time in seven years...

... he could see.

It was all so different from what he remembered. Being able to see... was a dream come true.

A wish that had been granted.

But at what cost?

Jungkook blinks several more times to make sure he's not dreaming.

"Hello?" He shouts, looking around the room; he was sitting on a white hospital bed... the walls and equipment lined up against it were white too. The only thing that stood out was an unfinished blue sucker on a metal tray beside him.

"Hello, sir..." Jungkook recognized the voice: it was the doctor who told him he was here for an eye checkup.

Jungkook leaps out of the bed and squeezes the doctor tightly. "Thank you, thank you so much."

"Yes, yes..." the doctor is startled. "But you shouldn't be thanking me,"

"What do you mean?"
