My seat trembled slightly as the plane lifted from the tar mat making me feel momentarily ill in the stomach and light headed. Dimitri's large calloused hands held mine between us as he rubbed circles into my hand with his thumb. The window to my left showed the familiar setting of Baia drifting off into the distance. The goodbye with Dimitri's family was hard, my heart felt like it was breaking with every step I walked towards the boarding gate. His sister Viktoria was quite upset, along with everyone else. Although Yeva looked quite happy with herself and held a smug smile on her face. Paul was clutching Karolina's legs with tears in his eyes, images of him this morning making me promise to him we will be back replayed in my mind. Dimitri and I promised we would come back. Dimitri nuzzled his face into my neck, abruptly stopping my train of thought.

"We will come back, and hopefully next time we can bring Lissa and Christian" Dimitri sighed and his breath caressed my neck, making me shiver. A low throaty moan vibrated within me. The effect this man had on me was crazy. I could sense him smiling at my reaction.

"Calm down cowboy. Were on a plane filled with thirty or so other people" I whispered to him. His husky laugh was returned as a response as he turned forward in his seat. Dimitri's hands stopped rubbing mine a while later indicating he was asleep. A light chatter was running through the plane and I was finding it difficult relax. I turned my head to the side to see half of Dimitri's face awkwardly pressed into his chair. His face was relaxed and his breathing was shallow. I turned back and rested my head against the uncomfortable window. Closing my eyes, I recalled the some of the events of last night that I could remember.

Dimitri and I stayed at his family's house that night. When we came down the steps together the whole family was waiting downstairs for us around the table. Once they realised there was a diamond ring on my finger they all jumped up and congratulated us while gushing over the ring. After that, the night became sort of hazy. When they put Paul to sleep in his room, I remember Yeva bringing out the Russian Vodka and myself nearly choking to death again. God only knows what I did under the influence of their liquid fire, but I hope I didn't make a fool out of myself in front of Dimitri's family. I found it hard to wake up this morning, I practically sat in the bathroom on the cold tiles for half an hour trying to get rid of the remaining alcohol in my system. Dimitri had to carry me bridal style out of the house so we could catch the plane home.

A sharp cough from a person behind me broke my train of thought. I felt restless and on edge while Dimitri slept next to me. Turning my head to the side I closed the little window securely before slowly shutting my eyes. I concentrated on Dimitri's shallow breaths beside me to calm me down and a little while later I was lulled into a restless black oblivion of sleep.

I was jolted in my sleep by a pair of rough hands and weighed down by something around my body. I was about to scream out for help when two empty dark red-rimmed eyes stared at me. Panic quickly settled into my body as I realised who's eyes they belonged. Dimitri was sitting on top of me, no, Strigoi Dimitri. Those eyes that tormented me were staring through me into my soul. He's Back. A loud scream sounded off into the distance, it wasn't just anyone's scream it was mine. My chest started to feel tight and my breathing became laboured. Dimitri's cold hands were touching my skin, leaving a burning trail up my arm.

Flashbacks of the time in the 'hotel' with Dimitri kept flashing through my mind; Dimitri feeding off me, both of us laying on the massive bed together, his lips on my neck, the blissful daze his bite gave me. All those memories I tried so hard to forget replayed in my mind. All the while Strigoi Dimitri stared at me, holding my limbs down on what seemed like a bed. He seemed to be drinking in my appearance. My mind snatched a memory of the first time I saw him as a Strigoi, How I hesitated to kill him there and then. The pressure in my skull started to form, and a buzzing noise started in my ears.

"Roza. . . You forgot my first lesson" Strigoi Dimitri moved his face so close to mine that I could feel his artificial breaths on my lips.

"Don't Hesitate" His fangs found my neck.

Pressure on my shoulders drew me back to reality. The tension I felt in my skull was still evident.

"Roza! Rose! Wake up!" I opened my eyes to find Dimitri, back to his normal self, worriedly staring down at me.

"Goodness Rose! You gave me a heart attack!" Dimitri looked frantic. Somehow he has managed to stand in the small space between my knees and the chair in front. His hands went to my face, caressing it, moving my hair away and wiping tears that I didn't know were falling from my eyes. He quickly sat in his seat and moved the armrest up before dragging me into his lap. His long arms folded over my body and he rocked me slightly while running his fingers through my hair. I couldn't get the image of his eyes out of my head, they haunt me. The buzzing noise grew stronger in my head and black dots appeared in my vision.

"Dimi- "The darkness enclosed me.
