When I say the word 'self-confidence', you might think a number of things. One of them might be low confidence.
I know how it feels to be not so confident. It seems a arduous task to be intrepid.
I think the main reason for a low level of confidence is that we don't believe in ourselves.
We are always thinking about what others might think of us. Maybe they won't accept us the way we are or also might make fun of us.
We don't want to be laughed at so we altogether dodge most of the situations in our lives that can be used as golden opportunities. So how do we combat this situation?
How should we inculcate confidence amongst ourselves.
The first step would be to not care about what others think. Many of you would say that it is easier said than done. I completely agree with that. I myself lacked the confidence needed and for the same reason I had kicked down too many opportunities.
I do regret the fact that I missed so many chances that could have been massive opportunities for me.But the past is gone and we should rather focus on our present.
You have your whole life ahead. There's so much that you can do.Being a self-conscious person, I was timorous and had extremely low confidence.
Why do we care so much about what others think of us?
What's the worst that can happen?
Maybe they'll laugh at you, mock you, might flout.
Are these people really worth your time and attention? If people make fun of you, it shows how insensitive they are. It shows that how low a person can get by making fun of someone's insecurities.
Do you really think that they are worth your concern? I'm sure you wouldn't want to kick off your opportunities for such people.
The best way to boost up your confidence is to face the situations that you fear.
It won't be easy, but you are strong.
Just believe in yourself.
You are much more talented, dauntless and strong than you think.Once you start facing your fears, you will realise how nugatory they were.
I have faced anxiety problems , bullying, panic attacks and what not.
I used to think so low of myself.
I thought that no one would like me so I stopped going everywhere I used to. I would just stay at home. But I realised that this wasn't the solution. You have got one life and it is definitely not meant to be dissipated this way.
I haven't overcome all my irrational fears yet, but I am improving.
Despite being nervous, I unveiled myself to all those situations that made me doubt myself. And I no longer question my capabilities. I am always willing to try something new.
Trust me, it makes you feel a lot better.Just BELIEVE in yourself!
