~Previously~

I felt Poseidon turn to look at the clock, before I heard him speak. "How about we go for that day out?" I smiled at his change of subject, truly grateful and slowly I sat up and walked towards my wardrobe. "Mortal world or Olympus?"

~Now~

"Mortal world." He replied back softly before he stood up. "I'll be back soon, but meet me in the throne room." I nodded and once he had left, I rummaged through my wardrobe but came up empty so I eventually went to my chest of drawers.

When I was done, I flashed to the throne room to see the other gods

When I was done, I flashed to the throne room to see the other gods. My eyes scanned for Poseidon and then I felt hand be placed on my shoulder. "You ready?" I nodded and together we walked out of Olympus. "So what would you like to do?" Poseidon spoke, and I smiled weakly "Can we watch something in the cinema then go out for lunch?" I spoke. He smiled. "Sure."

When we reached the cinema we got, popcorn and two seats to see woman in black two. To say I wasn't scared was a lie, and every time I jumped, I heard Poseidon chuckle quietly wrapping me in his arms.
"It's not funny." I whispered, turning my head to the screen, only to look away. "It kind of is." He whispered. I slapped his chest, and he chuckled quietly, but still got told to shut up from the people behind us. After that we respected their wishes...

The film, had finally ended and as we went to lunch, I bit my lip. "How you feeling?" He spoke, smirking. I narrowed my eyes and whacked him with my bag. "I hate you." He chuckled before leading me into an pizza express.

The waiter flirted with me, and Poseidon glared. "What would you like beautiful?" He spoke. Poseidon grabbed my hand, and I rubbed my thumb over his knuckles. "Watch it, that's my girlfriend your flirting with." He paled, and coughed awkwardly before he took our orders.

I rolled my eyes and Poseidon let go of my hand slouching in his chair, his arms across his chest. "Poseidon..." "You can't even go out without being flirted with!" He hissed. I blinked in confusion before tears slowly threatened to spill from my eyes. "I'm sorry I didn't realise my looks were an issue." I mumbled, looking down, my hands on my lap. "I'm sorry that wasn't meaning to sound insulting." I looked up at him, swiping away a tear that fell. "It's fine." Guilt entered his eyes, and as he was about to speak, our meals were placed down.

I said my thanks and slowly dug in. We ate in silence, and my thoughts swam from his bitter words. "Athena I am sorry." He spoke. I looked at him and shrugged. "It doesn't matter." I spoke, before I continued to eat. "If it doesn't matter why does it look like your going to burst into tears?" He spoke. I swallowed my food, before I placed my cutlery down. "It doesn't matter Poseidon and I'm not going to cry!" I hissed in a whisper. He leant forwards, his breath tickled my face. "Don't lie to me." He spoke. I drew away and continued to eat.

We sat in silence after that, neither saying anything. But as we ate I watched him intently. He was the only god that ever confused me.

When lunch was over we paid and flashed to Olympus. There things grew worse....
