Jada's pov~
Regardless of the crazy morning I just had I still managed to get to work on time. I've interviewed the five persons already and was now trying to calm my nerves. I haven't seen anyone suitable for the spot. During the interviews I could hardly concentrate. This morning just kept playing over and over in my head. The thing that bothered me the most was that mama hid it from me.
I was drawn out of my thoughts by the presence of someone. I looked up and there stood a beautiful girl who looked like my age or probably one or two years older. She had caramel eyes and caramel skin, with curly hair and she was tall with a thick body structure.
"Good morning." She said while smiling brightly.
"Good morning, how may I help you?" I asked while smiling back at her.
"I'm Ally Stewart and I'm here for an interview. I heard you needed someone." She said with an outstretched hand for me to shake. I took her hand and introduced myself. "I'm Jada-Marie Hall."
The interviews were over but there was something about this girl. I had to hear her out. "Have a seat." I said to her. She did just that and before I could say anything she started speaking.
"I just turned twenty one and I got kicked out of school from the age of sixteen so no I don't have a resume." It's like she knew what I was going to ask her even before I asked..... she continued. "You don't have to worry though because I can read and write just as fluently as anyone here."
"Basically you don't have to worry about me messing things up around here."
She's such a boss. She walks into my office and demands a job. There's something about her, I'm not sure what it is but all I know is that I like it.
"You don't have a resume, why should I hire you?"
"Simply because everyone deserves a second chance and your in the position to help me so please, please help me." She said still maintaining her smile.
I smiled at her. "Don't let me regret this."
"That mean I got the job?" I nodded at her question. She sprang up from her seat and squealed. "Thank you so much Ms Hall, you won't regret it but why so easy?"
"Your welcome Ally I honestly dont know but I like you and you can just call me Jada."
She nodded. "So do I start now?" She asked all excited. I've never seen someone with this much eager to work, right there and then I knew I wouldn't regret giving her this job.
"Follow me."
I took her to the changing room and gave her a suit of uniform. She quickly changed off into them in front of me like I wasn't even standing there. "Thank you once more Ms Hall I mean Jada." She smiled sheepishly.
I nodded then led her out to where everyone was and called Vicki to show her the ropes of keeping her job. She'll be working as a waitress. In less than a week Vicki will stop working here because of the baby and when the baby is born she and Justin are gonna open a hair salon together. So Ally is actually taking Vicki's spot. The day went by quickly and we all went home.
I don't even know why they work. They are all millionaires. If I had half the money Treve, Vicki or Justin had I'd stay home all day everyday...
I told Treve nothing about what happened this morning. I told no one not even Vicki it was still so new to me and also confusing just too much to grasp at once. I needed time. At dinner I didn't say much and Treve suspected something was wrong but I lied assuring him that everything was ok. That night I drifted off to sleep very early.
