The girl with the rainbow

Chapter 1

Hi my names Skylar, and this is the story of my "normal" life.

"I swear Skylar Jane if you don't get your lazy ass out of bed" my mom was yelling as she walked in my room.
"Chill. I'm up, I'm up" I say as I slowly sit up. School who's stupid idea was that. She huffs and leaves. I push the cover aside and a hear a soft whimper and look under the covers, and there's my dog bear sound asleep. I shake him gently, he opens his eyes and once he sees me he pounces on me and starts licking me face, and I can help but laugh. I look over at my clock and realize it's only 6:20, and I groan.

"Come on buddy let's get some food" I tell bear. As I walk into the kitchen I hear bears feet pad behind me on the carpet. Since the door to the garage is in the kitchen I go out in the garage and get a scoop of his food and put it in his food bowl in the kitchen. I grabbed a banana off the counter and headed to my room. Since it's my first day of school I want to look nice or at least niceish. I pick out some dark blue jeans and a long sleeve gray t-shirt with holes cut out on the shoulders, then I throw my hair up in a messy bun.

On my way to school I stopped by Starbucks to get a cup of coffee because my day can't start with out it. I decided to get my friend Lizzy one two since she doesn't have a car I have to drive her to school. She only lives 10 minutes away from the school but refuses to walk anyway. As I pull into her drive way I see her come walking out the front door. When she sits in the passenger seat I hand her the coffee.

"Omg I love you" she says. I laugh at her.

"Yeah I know" I say, and I turn on the radio.
Lizzy starts to sing the song that's on and I join in, and then we both laugh at each other because we aren't very good singers.

I pull into my parking spot at school. Everyone got to paint their parking spot if they wanted to, so me and Lizzy worked for 2 hours on mine. We decided to go with a meme that said "if your reading this than I'm late" it was Lizzy's idea, she said "it was to funny not to put".

I Finnish my coffee and leave it in the holder and hop out of the car, since my jeep doesn't have doors, I literally have to hop out of the car.

I grab my bag and walk around to the back end of the car where Lizzy was admiring our paint job. I laugh at her, she looks up at me.

"What, I just think it looks amazing" she laughs.

"Yeah it does, but I don't want to be late to first period. So let's go" I tell her. She gives me a playful glare and we start walking to the front door side by side.

Everyone is still on the court yard out front of the school.

"Hey" Lizzy says looking at her phone "it's only 7:20" she tells me.

"So, maybe I lied a little about the time" I say throwing my shoulders up as I smirk. She playfully shoves me.

"I hate being early" she whines. I just smirk in response. Me and Lizzy have been best friends since first grade and on the first day she always comes late so this time I though I would change it up a little. I look over and see Liam and Asher hanging out at our usual table. Liam is Lizzy boyfriend they have been together since middle school, and Asher is my boyfriend we have been together for 3 years, but we have known each other since we were little.

"Hey babe" Asher says as he see me and Lizzy approach.

"Hey" I say as he hugs me. I see Lizzy and Liam over Ashes shoulder and they are sitting together being all cute. She's leaning on him while he tells a story.

Me Lizzy Ash and Liam all sit at our normal bench and talk to our normal friends.

*ding*

As everyone starts to walk in the building to get to class Ash puts his arm around me, and says "day one of hell" and I laugh. He gives me a quick kiss on the cheek and then ducks into his class. My first class is geometry, I seriously hate calculus class and the teacher seriously hates me. "Here goes nothing" I whisper under my breath and open the door.
