Ashton's POV

I walked the halls of my school, looking at people who used to be my friends from the corner of my eye. I stopped at my locker, dropping my backpack inside, slamming the door shut. I pulled my sleeves down, walking to class. I pushed my glasses up taking my seat. "Ashton, how are you?" The teacher asked me, with a smile. She knew my troubles, and my life story. I nodded, smiling but she probably guessed it was fake. "What are we learning in class today?" I asked her, as students begin to fill the room. "You have to find out. No sleeping, okay?" I nodded, taking out a few supplies.

After school , I had a huge headache and was done with school. I walked home, preparing what I was about to do. I ran to my room, grabbing my bag which had everything. My room was empty and cleaned out by the time I was done. I rushed to Amber's room grabbing the picture of us, and some of her things. I ran out of the house, arms full of bags. I hoped he didn't hear me, as I rushed out to the garage, starting Amber's car.

I was off, towards the woods. A place he wouldn't be able to find me. I pulled the car into the woods, on a trail that lead to a lake, filled of fish. I hopped out of the car once I parked it, looking around I spotted a good place to camp. The moon started to rise over the treetops after the sun had sunk down onto the lake. Howls could be heard, as stars began to shine. I looked at the tree canopy above my head, yawning as sleep took over. I had ran away.
