Chapter 3: New feelings

It had been 2 weeks since Taehyung and Jimin had gotten together. They had tried to keep it a secret from the other members but most of them had figured it out by how much closer they seemed, and how much more affectionate they were towards one another she they thought no one was looking.
The other members lingered around the dorms while Taehyung and Jimin stayed cuddled up together on Tae's bed while Jimin played with his hair.
Taehyung leaned back against Jimin enjoying his gentle touch as he read a comic.
The two sat relishing in the calm silence. Before Taehyung decided to say what was on his mind.
"Hey, Jimin"
"Yeah?"
Jimin looked down at the other boy leaning against him.
"Do you want to go on a date somewhere?"
Jimin blinked a bit startled by the sudden insinuation.
"Uhm, Somewhere like where?"
"Anywhere you want to go, or anywhere that seems fun. Would you like that?"
Taehyung had turned to look at Jimin which made him blush a bit. Jimin felt his heart flutter at Taehyings pure and sincere thoughtfulness, a small genuine smile curvibing his lips as he agreed with him.
"Yeah, that would be nice."
They both smiled at each other ha ing come to agreement to go out on a date. Deciding to set it for two days from that day.

Taehyung and Jimin nervously got ready for their date, feeling even more so awkward since they were doing so in the same home instead of meeting up somewhere.
After they were both ready they headed out the door and caught a train to the shopping center.
The two boys as wandered and decided to checkout the many stores of the center. The two goofed off together and played around happily as they usually did when they hung out. A street performer played a tune of a song on his guitar and they both sung along cheerfully.
The two ended the day by grabbing a bite to eat, snacking on take-out desert as they went home. The two fed one another till Taehyung became tired and leaned against Jimin. Jimin smiled softly at him and wrapped his arm around his shoulder.
When they got off at their stop Jimin took Taehyung and hoisted him on his back walking home with Taehyung laying tiredly against him.
After they had gotten close to home Taehyung had cracked his eyes open and saw that he was being carried by Jimin.
"Hey, Jimin. You can put me down now I can walk myself."
Taehyung whined to Jimin tapping his shoulder to try and get him to let him go which only made Jimin chuckle.
"Nope. You're tired"
Taehyung pouted at this.
"Well you're tired too jiminiePabo!"
Jimin only chuckled at Taehyung's antics.
Taehyung even more protested and tried to free his legs so he could walk on his own.
"Come on Jiminie! Lemme go!"
Jimin c filled a d finally gave into Taehyung's wishes and gently dripped his legs to the ground allowing him to stand on his feet.
"You're such a stubborn head."
Jimin chuckled at Taehyung's animated reaction.
"No I'm not!"
They both joked and laughed at each other as they kept to the rest of the way home.
They soon arrived at home and went inside taking off their shoes and going to their shared room and laying down on their respective beds.
They turned and faced towards each other with gentle endearing smiles of adoration and gratitude.
Their hands both outstretched over the bed and reaching out to hold the other's.
"I love you, Jimin"
"I love you too, Taehyung"
They both smiled at one another, all the while holding hands till the night drifted them both off to sleep.
