Chapter 2: sweet apologies

It had been a few days since that event had happened. Both boys had expereinced a strange new feeling between eachother. But from Taehyungs side of things it wasn't so simple since he'd been the one to inniciate such an act. Do to this Taehyung had been avoiding Jimin to no appeasment of Jimin.
Whenever Jimin tried to speak to Taehyung, the boy would run off to hide or bug one of the other hand members. Taehyung knew for a fact what he was doing would hurt Jimin, and Taehyung knew that, but he was scared. Taehyung was afraid of what Jimin would say. And while Jimin did have an incredibly large forgiving nature, Taehyung wasn't so certain About this.

The group had been outdoors shooting a puma commercial when Jimin had decided to approach Taehyung. The moment Taehyung saw Jimin coming his way he ran off.

Jimin looked to Taehyung with troubled eyes desperately wishing Taehyung wouldn't run away. Fearful thoughts that Taehyung may have ended up hating him after the intimate kiss thaey shared those days ago. This made Jimin's resolve to talk to Taehyung about the incident strengthen and he sought out to find Taehyung and pull him to the side and talk the moment he saw him.

"Even if he ends up hating me I have to find out for myself and let him hear my side of things."
With that Jimin went to search for Taehyung.

After successfully escaping Jimin, Taehyung ran into Yoongi.(Suga)
"Ah! Hey watch where your going knuckle head Taehyung!"
Yoongi had fussed at Taehyung making him apologize.
"Sorry, Yoongi-Ah I was just passing by"
Yoongi looked at Tae skeptically.
"Mm, but why were you running? Does it have something to do with how you've been trying to avoid Jimin all week?"
Taehyung' s face went blank for a moment before he nervously chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck.
"Eheh, that's a long story."
"I have a bit of time to hear it out"
Taehyung deadpanned as he realized their was no avading this.
He nervously shifted on his feet preparing to tell him what had happened that day.
"W-well, do you remember when you and the others had left for the evening a week ago?"
Yoongi became more intrigued with the story.
"Go on"
"Well... that evening I may have done something terrible that may have messed up our friendship completely..."
Yoongi was a bit surprised at hearing this and stared at Taehyung wondering what he had did so awful to Jimin that it would potentially ruin their friendship. He watched as his fellow band member twisted and fidgeted about nervously and anxiously.
Yoongi sighed and leaned against a wall.
"Taehyung, you need to face Jimin for whatever you did. No matter how much you try to avoid it you can't run from it."
Taehyung still looked a bit standoffish to the idea, uncertain of it and how it would go. Yoongi sighed at this and exclaimed.
"Look Taehyung, It's best to confront Jimin so you can get it over with and nothing weighing on your conscience.
And their is a large probability he'll forgive you. I mean, this is Jimin we'retalking about."
Taehyung gave a small smile at how right Yoongi was about Jimin. Jimin was extremely easy to forgive someone for anything. Even if they broke his favorite mug, he was very kind and understanding, especially to Taehyung.
"I suppose you're right. It's still kind of scary to find out his reaction, but I'll confront him."
Yoongi gave a small smirk and placed his hand on Taehyung's shoulder.
"Good. Now go make up with your chim-chim!"
Yoongi pushed Taehyung out into the open making him stagger a bit and look at Yoongi and wonder about his strange way of being caring.
Taehyung walked nervously out to go find Jimin, but it didn't take long for Jimin had grabbed Taehyung and pinned him to a wall looking at Taehyung angrily.
"What's your problem Taehyung-ah!? Why have you been avoiding me??!"
Taehyung looked up at Jimin before averting his eyes feeling this was coming.
"I don't know what I did but tell me! Please."
In that part Taehyung widened his eyes at those words from Jimin. Jimin had geninuinely thought he had done something wrong? Taehyung felt a sharp pang as he looked to see the hurt expression on Jimin's face as if he was on the brink of tears.
"That's bot it at all!"
Taehyung raised his voice making Jimin jolt and look up at Taehyung.
"I thought you were mad at me for what I did when it rained and you'd hate me."
Taehyung blushed a bit looking away nervously.
"Where the hell did you get that insane idea Tae??"
Taehyung looked to Jimin a bit surprised.
"You... don't hate me?"
Jimin's face softened and wrapped his arms around him tightly.
"Don't be sillier than you already are"
Taehyung widened his eyes before tears streamed down his face and his arms wrapped around the other boy tightly in return. Grabbing the back of his shirt tightly.
"I couldn't hate you if I tried Taehyung."
Jimin held him close as he sobbed softly.
They both held each other close till Taehyung stopped crying and even still Taehyung held onto Jimin.

After a while the two of them chuckled to each other for being silly and rocked one another playfully to cheer the other up.
The two of them laughed and leaned against the wall staring at the clear sky.
"You know Jimin, I don't think I regret what I did that much. You probably feel differently but I just wanted to at least let you know that."
Taehyung blushed feeling embarrassed having said that, hoping he had not made it awkward, as Jimin turned and looked at Taehyung a bit surprised before turning away and looking to the sky.
"Who says I regret that you did it?"
Taehyung's eyes widened as he turned and looked at Jimin extremely surprised and looking seeing his cheeks with a bit of pink in them.
"Jimin..."
Taehyung looked at Jimin for a moment as a soft autumn breeze blew. He blushed and looked away feeling shy all of a sudden.
"You're weird Chim-chim"
Taehyung placed his hand right beside Jimin's as he looked away. Jimin also looking away placed his hand in Taehyung's.
"I'm not the only one. But that's what I like about you most."
Taehyung gave a small nod in agreement.
"Yeah, you too."
The pair both looked off as they held hands in silence staring at the clouds in the sky. Listening to the faint sounds of birds.
