~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~In the dark, gloomy city that was St. Petersburg, a group of cats sat close together in an ally, whispering quietly to each other. One of them looked around and noticed a figure turning the corner. All the cats moved away from each other, acting like nothing happened.
The cat who turned the corner narrowed his eyes. The city cats merely ignored him. The clan cat smirked and continued walking. Finally, one of the rogues spoke in a louder tone. "They can call it Ravenclan, but it'll always be Streamclan! New name, same empty stomachs!"
The strangely colored rogue kicked the small pile of bones in front of him. He hissed and stood up, flexing his claws. The cats around him shifted uneasily.
"We fought for Ravenstar years ago, and this is how she treats us!?" The grayish blue cat snorted. "We should of kept those damn princesses alive!"
One of the other cats flicked her ears. "You haven't heard the gossip going around?" The group nodded, showing they have heard the news, the grey blue one went silent, a confused look on his face.
An old tom looked around and lowered his voice to a soft whisper. "I've heard that one princess may be still alive!"
The grayish rogue chuckled. The she-cat who spoke first frowned. "I'm serious! I kinda believe it...They never did find her body...and no one came up saying they killed her!"
Another cat tilted her head "The princess Roseblossom?" A cat next to her nodded. "Don't be absurd!" The grey rogue spoke, his tail lashing back and forth. "Its been years! If she's really alive, why hasn't she turned up!?"
The she-cat shrugged and looked an old she-cat next to her. The old cat looked over to the angry grey rogue "I heard the princess's grandmother is giving out a big reward for her safe return." The grey rogue froze and thought for a minute. Suddenly, a cat ran by their alley, the group looked to each other, and not wanting to be seen with the grey tom, they ran off.
A dark beige and brownish old tom ran around the corner, almost crashing into the blueish grey rogue. "Damien!!" He said, stopping in front of the rogue, who was still lost in his thoughts.
"They closed another border! We should of gotten out of here while we still could!!" The old tom collapsed, laying on the floor. Damien looked down on him. "Alsan, I've been thinking of the princess Roseblossom."
Aslan groaned "oh Not you too Damien!!" Damien chuckled and sat down, placed a paw gently on Alsan's head. "Don't worry! This plan will help us get out of Petersburg, and towards a bright future!" Alsan looked up, showing that he was listening.
"We'll find a she-cat who is willing to play the part of Roseblossom, teach her what to say, and take her to Fallenclan!" Alsan's unusually large ears perked "Imagine the reward we will get for returning her!!"
Damien smiled "You got it!!" He stood up, allowing Alsan to get up. "We just need to find two things! A she-cat that will cooperate, and something that will make the old clan-cat think it's her precious granddaughter."
Damien chuckled "Let's get the item first." Al nodded and started to lead Damien out of the alley. The long street that lay outside of it was bare and cracked. The sidewalk and buildings were a dull grey, making everything look depressing.
Damien slowly walked behind Al, his head dipped down so he couldn't make eye contact with any passing cats.
Al lead the dirty rogue to a broken down building, the 'For Sale' sign loosely hung from the door. "Продается?" Damien looked up at the sign. Al nodded "It's one of the only places where cats still sell useful things."
Damien snorted but walked into the building. It was small and dark, the only thing you could see is the reflection of many cat eyes.
Damien slowly walked past many cats, looking at the items they had in front of them. Suddenly, he noticed a strange looking rose laying at the paws of a cat with green eyes.
"How much is that rose?" Damien asked quietly, so no one else could hear and steal it. The green-eyed cat smiled slightly "Oh! I could never get rid of it, It was said to be found in a small ditch just inside of the old Fallenclan territory." He gently put a paw on the stem of the rose. "It was found in a dried pile of blood, and people say it's bright color comes from the shed blood."
Damien chuckled "How about two large mice?" The green-eyed cat perked up "Sold!" Damien grabbed the rose and waved his tail to Al, who reluctantly gave up the mice he had just caught.
Damien walked out of the building, carrying the rose gently in his mouth. The color of the rose was darker than normal, almost as if the vendors tale was true. Damien smiled slightly and he carried the flower, for some reason it seemed like the exact item he needed.
Petal carefully made her way down the sidewalk, she kept her dark beige and white head held up high, so she could easily see the cats slinking in the shadows. The goldish cat had a chill run down her spine. The only cats she'd seen out in the open were ones that were running in fear.
The small cat made her way over to a corner, at the same time two cats in the shadows started to screech. Petal looked up to see two of them rolling on the ground, biting at their necks and scratching at each other's stomachs.
Petal freaked out and let out a little scream of terror as a strange memory flooded through her mind. The sounds of screeching cats around her, two random cats dying by each others claws, but before she could finish seeing everything, a voice cut her mind off.
"Are you okay?" Petal opened her eyes, which she had closed tightly after being frightened. She straightened up to look at a dark grey cat. He had yellow eyes and a large scar across his neck.
"It was just two cats having a spat, there's nothing to be afraid of anymore!" He watched as Petal smiled and looked at her paws, her tail was still stuck between her legs, and her ears were laid back. "Your shaking." The new tom observed. "There's a good place to hunt mice just steps from here, let me-"
Before he could finish his sentence Petal spoke up "Thank you!" She answered, as though she had just now realized that he had helped her. She began to walk past him when he called her back. "What's your hurry?" "I have a job to do. I don't want to be late."
She looked down the street, then back to the handsome tom. "But thank you." The grey cat smiled weakly "I'm here everyday." Petal smiled back before continuing to walk, trying to get as much distance between her and that tom as she could.
The gold feline quickly past by two she-cats sitting against the shadowy side of a dumpster, but something they said caught her ear. She slowed down and tried to listen to them.
"Did you here about the thing with Thief?" one cat questioned. "Oh yes! I heard that whoever wins gets a free ticket to go to Fallenclan with him!" Petal froze and looked over to the she-cats.
Fallenclan. Petal cleared her throat. "Excuse me?" One of the she-cats, a grey and black one, looked up "What is it pest?" Petal locked gazes with her.
"How do I find this Thief?"
