Chapter 15

Ruby's POV

"Mommy wake up!"

I wake up and see Rosa with dad. I still haven't told him that me and Rosa will be moving. I have found a good house that should fit all of us.

I get put of bed and get dressed, I have to go to a parent meeting with Rosa's teachers.

I go downstairs and see dad and Rosa cooking breakfast.

"Hey guys."

"Mommy, your awake? Are we groin to the ice cream store?"

"Yes, but when I get back from your school, is that alright?"

"Yes."

I take a piece of bread and get ready to leave. I kiss everyone good bye and get into my car.

I get to the school and see a lot of other parents. I go to Rosa's classroom and see her teacher.

"Hello, my name is Miss Whitefield. I would like to thank all of you for coming out today. I will tell you what we are learning and stuff like that."

An hour later

It took a while to get out of the parking lot and get home, but I made it. I found out that I have to get to work in about three hours. I still wan to take Rosa to the ice cream shop and have a little time together. I want to show her the house and see if she likes it.

I get home and my father looks pissed off.

"When where you going to tell me you and Rosa where moving?!"

"Who told you about that?"

"The woman who came to my door and asked if you were here, i asked why and she said for the house same bought. Why would you wan to move?"

"I can't stay in here forever, I just wan to be a mother with a child, not the daughter of a vampire. I just want Rosa to grow up a normal life and not worry if she's going to die."

"Well you know what you can leave and go where ever you want, I could care less. I hope you die in a ditch."

He flashes back and in one hand he has our stuff and the other hand he has a crying Rosa.

"Here." He says throwing both to me.

I catch Rosa and look at him with hatred. How dare he touch my daughter and throws her like she's nothing.

"You don't deserve to be a grandfather, you just threw her, like she was nothing. How could you? I hate you, you should of just let me at the hospital when you hard the chance to!!" I yell at him.

I take all of our stiff and put it my car and put Rosa in her car set. I drive to the house and put our stuff down. I drive to the ice cream shop and we get some ice cream. When I have to go to work I call Elena and see of she can take car of Rosa. I drop Rosa off and go to work.

After work I go to Elena's house and see dad with Rosa. I gfo over and pull her away for him.

"So now I can't even see my granddaughter?"

"Not when you told me to dies, threw her and made me feel like I was the bad guy for wanting a better life for my daughter."

"I'm sorry."

"It's going to take more than I'm sorry to this all better."

Rosa gets in the car and I take her home. We watch movies and have pizza for dinner. Everyone comes over, except dad, and we have a small party.

I put Rosa to bed and sing a song to her.

I then to to bed.
