christmas morning: hey everyone! hope y'all are having a good holiday. please comment lots and lots and give me lots of feedback!! i look forward to interacting with y'all!

Kageyama and Shouyo couldn't hold hands on the way home. Not because they were embarrassed or fearful that somebody would see them with their fingers interlocked at that time of night, but because one of his hands was keeping a drowsy Natsu from sliding off of his back and onto the pavement, and his other hand steady on the girl's purple bicycle.

It was easy enough considering he bike had training wheels to prevent it from toppling over and it also was pretty much the only thing that prevented the textured plastic petals from jamming into Kageyama's calf.

The two were quiet. They hadn't anything to discuss, and it wasn't like there was really anything that needed to be discussed. After five and a half more minuets of walking from that point, they had finally made it to Kageyama's dwelling. Getting the bicycles up the open-air stairwell of the apartment complex would be far too tiresome, so they hitched them up to the bike rack underneath the mouth of the steps. The two boys plodded upwards with the girl in tow, their feet causing a rippling of noise from their footsteps to reverberate off of the walls of the concrete structure and released out into the waxing quarter moon and a few clouds in the same purple-grey as a fading bruise.

The spontaneity of this arrangement also came with its fair deal of setbacks. They were completely unprepared to stay over. Kageyama has to go out to the corner store and buy some cup ramen for dinner and some toothbrushes for his guests. While Natsu and Shouyou were bathing before bedtime, Kageyama was rifling through cardboard boxes of his old clothing. The only thing he could seem to scrounge up was an old Halloween costume from first grade. It was clean and in excellent condition, it would have to do.

The fatigued girl emerged from the washroom in a calico cat onesie. Originally, the costume had a little golden jingle bell about the collar, but that was long gone. She rubbed her eye with a balled up fist and let out a small roar of a yawn.

"Hey, Kageyama." The setter's boyfriend called out, turning around the corridor with a towel around his neck. "What...?"

The raven-haired boy averted his eyes and his cheeks heated up. "It was the only thing I could find that fit."

"Out of all of the things your family kept for you, this, this was it?" He whined with exhaustion .

Meanwhile,  Shouyou, himself, was also wearing his boyfriend's hand-me-downs. There was his junior high athletic shorts and it's coordinating tee shirt. In addition, Shouyo topped it off with one of the coziest jumpers from his boyfriend's closet.

Shouyou wasn't the only one claimed by fatigue.  Natsu was far too tired to even suppress her yawn. "Come on." Shouyou cooed gently, outstretching his arm towards his younger sister.

While Kageyama prepared the couch, Shoyou and Natsu brushed their teeth. The middle-blocker tucked his baby sister in on the sofa and clicked off the light in the light in the living room.

Then Shouyou padded down the hall to the only lit room.Strangely enough, there wasn't a guest futon spread out on the floor. Instead, Kageyama's bed simply had an extra pillow. It wasn't the first time Shouyou had slept over at his boyfriend's house; but it wasn't like he had been over there enough to not blush at the thought of sharing a bed with his boyfriend. Considering the bed was only a twin, not meant for two, they had to lay incredibly close to one another. Kageyama plugged his phone into the charging port and killed the light just as his boyfriend climbed into the bed. Neither of the two said anything for the longest time as both were situated under the covers in the dark bedroom.
