Candy Shop (Bokuaka)

Unicorn snot is mentioned in this chapter, it's basically like a body glitter thingy that's really cool and I saw it at this specific candy store before so that what it is if you didn't know

Bokuto and Akaashi strolled the Manhattan streets calmly, at least partly calmly, because Bokuto was being Bokuto and shouting and everything he passed. By the time that they passed Dylan's Candy Bar, Akaashi was already tired out with the fact that Bokuto was jumping all over the place. Given the fact that they were in New York, Akaashi finally gave in to letting Bokuto hold his hand, which was an instant regret. The larger owl was bouncing up and down and making a scene and Keiji wanted nothing to do with it.
"Bo, if you calm down I'll take you into the candy store..." Akaashi said quietly, and Bokuto instantly stopped moving. He puffed up his chest and stared forward with a death stare. Is this calm Bokuto?
Akaashi wondered, and nodded, letting the older man drag him inside. Once they entered the doors, a painful sweet smell hit their noses and Bokuto's sense of calm and safety went out the window. Akaashi flared his nostrils as Bokuto literally pushed him throughout the store, grabbing as much candy as he could hold.
"Bokuto." Akaashi whispered, leaning his head onto his boyfriend's back.
"Hm?" Bokuto replied, somehow hearing the soft voice over the loudness of the store.
"They...they have unicorn snot..." Akaashi whispered excitedly, and Bokuto's eyes widened. Akaashi had an obsession with this magical item, unicorn snot. Most of his phone's contents were the pictures of the stuff, mostly accompanied by shirtless photos of Bo, but that's a story for another time. Akaashi had been searching for a store in Japan that would sell anything remotely close to unicorn snot, but alas, he could never find it.
"Akaashi! I'll buy it for you!" Bokuto exclaimed with a grin.
"Bokuto, but the while set is like 40 dollars, I don't think.."
"I'LL BUY IT FOR YOU BECAUSE YOU TOOK ME TO THIS CANDY STORE AND YOU HATE CANDY SO I'M BUYING IT FOR YOU!!!!" Bokuto's voice rang throughout the store with passion, and Akaashi blushed and looked around, mumbling a "sorry" to the people around them.
He then turned back to Bo.
"Th...thank you..." Akaashi said in a quiet manner, not even looking up at the bigger man.
"No problem!" Bokuto grinned again, placing a kiss on Akaashi's forehead.
"BOkuto! We're in public..." he hissed, embarrassed, and the color of his cheeks was bright pink.
"Ok ok Akaashi.... go get your unicorn snot," Bokuto said, slightly intrigued to whether or not Akaashi would actually put it on later.
Akaashi was the one this time to drag his boyfriend over to the display with all the unicorn snot, as he picked up all the colors, blushing slightly as people walked past him. He was slight self-conscious.
"Keiji. You alright?" Bokuto whispered into the crook of Akaashi's neck.
"Mmmhmm..." Akaashi turned around with five jars of unicorn snot, all in different colors. He had the hugest grin Bokuto had ever seen on his face.
So cute!
Bokuto thought as he put back some of the candy in order to pay for his boyfriend's stuff.
"Wait no, please, you don't have to pay, if you have to get rid of some your candy then I..." Akaashi was cut of quickly by Bokuto saying,
"Your happiness is more important" bluntly, and getting on line to make his purchases. Akaashi smiled to himself, Bokuto could be so cute sometimes.
They left the store quickly afterwards, both of them blushing as Bokuto thrust the bag into Akaashi's hands.
"Here." He mumbled.
Akaashi grinned, his face lighting up as Bokuto glanced at his smile, reddening at how cute it was.
"I love you, Bo."
"I love you too."
