Rain

I watched the rain for hours. It was beautiful in the strangest way. How it just fell from the sky no beginning in sight. How it could help the plants but destroy a chalk drawing. It could wash away the past and start a new one. Standing in the rain was probably my favorite. Letting it wet my hair, drench my clothes and soak my shoes. It was like taking a shower outside and letting the rain wash away everything. Whatever upset you yesterday doesn't matter. Whatever made you mad today doesn't matter. Whatever is going to piss you off tomorrow doesn't matter. All that matters is the rain, right now.
