Easy Escape

I stop walking and look up from my black all star converse. A large castle looking building stands behind me and a tall thick stone wall with barbed wire atop it in front of me. I look around to see guards hurrying around trying to find me as the sound of sirens ring through my ears and spotlights flash around.

Staying invisible, I fly upwards and over the wall.

They thought they could hold me. My thoughts make me giggle darkly. Idiots.

I land just outside the wall and become visible again. I follow the wall around to the front gate and make some water from the ocean surrounding the island prison rise to make a hovering ball in my hand. I lean against the wall behind an overly scared tall guard.

Never seen him before. Maybe he's new. I think to myself as I look him up and down and he turns around. He's kinda cute. I might take him with me.

"Hey there." I smirk and cover his mouth with the water but let him breathe through his nose. I lean on his shoulder as I hold him still with more water, frozen as ice restraints. "Either you come with me willingly and by my accomplice or I drown you in only a small amount if water."

Before you get the wrong idea, I was raised a bit better than that. I don't kill people. I'd scare them enough to be in an asylum but I wouldn't kill. I'm all about mind games.

"I'm going to take the water away now. You're going to tell me your decision but if you yell for help I'll kill you AND them." I say darkly, smirking. I slowly take away the water and notice the absolute fear in his blue eyes.

"I'll do w-what ev-er you w-want." He stutters quietly. I smile at him and peer at his name tag.

"Let's go, Jacob." I smile at him, mess up his spiked-up brown hair and take away the ice restraints.

Jacob is much taller than me and quite muscular, he looks about 20. Fear is evident on his face but I see curiosity in his eyes.

"I'm Phoenix." I introduce myself as lead him towards a nearby parked black jeep. "Before anything else happens I'll ask you a few things." He nods his head timidly.

He's taking this well... The thought runs through my mind.

"Are you in any relationship?" I ask. I don't want him to have a weakness if he's going to be my side-kick. He looks at me, shocked with my bluntness before I make an ice ball and chain and attach it to his ankle. I don't trust him yet. I brake into the jeep and hot wire it. I get back out, push him into the passenger seat, taking the ball and chain and turn it to water, hand-cuffing him to the handle above the door.

"No, I'm not." He replies inspecting my ice work. I get in and drive over the bridge and into the city, the jails sirens wailing in the background as we drive to my home.
