12. After The Kiss

Kara's POV

After rest of the staff members left, I closed the saloon. There was awkward silence between us. Few moments back we were so intimate and now we are behaving like nothing happened.

"Wait here. I'll bring the car.", Jimin said. 

I nodded.

You should've smiled or said something cute. This silence is killing me. We'll be inside the car now, I can't stay quite. Come on, Kara! Talk to him. We just kissed! God! That kiss. I didn't want it to end. I can still feel his lips. No! No! Focus Kara! Thinking about that kiss will make it harder to act normal.

I wonder what he's thinking? Is he thinking about the kiss too? Did he like it? Well, I loved it. 

My thoughts were interrupted by arrival of the car. He came out and opened the car door for me, "Hop in." 

He's such a gentleman.

I smiled and sat inside the car, still deep in my thoughts. Jimin sat on the driver's seat and looked at  me and smiled.

"Wha...What? Is there something on my face?" confused as I was he leaned towards me.

Is he going to kiss me again? OMG! I'm not ready. 

I closed my eyes. He pulled the seat belt for me and buckled it up. We were so close. My heart just skipped a beat.

Why didn't he kiss me? I'm sure he didn't like our kiss. But it was my first time. I've never kissed before. He must've kissed a dozen girls...

My mind got a little out of control after the kiss. It was overthinking and over analyzing. 

"I've never been to this area before..." Jimin finally broke the silence as we drove through the streets.

"I'm sure you might've kissed many girls who were great kissers, but before you judge, this was my first kiss. And in my defense I wasn't prepared." I blabbered. 

"Huh? HAHAHAHAHA!!! You are so cute!" he pinched my cheeks. 

What was that for?

Finally, we reached my locality. I didn't want him to leave. Not after what happened at the saloon.

Jimin's POV 

"I should go...Bye Jimin", she opened the car door and stepped out.

I smiled but i didn't say goodbye because I wanted her to stay. There was so much I wanted to say. I wanted to talk to her, hold her, kiss her. 

She closed the door and walked away. With every step she took my heart sank. 

At once she turned around and walked towards the car, "I know you've been busy because of the comeback but if you are free you can come over for some ramen, maybe?"

"Yes! Sure. That'd be great!" my eyes lightened up. This is what I wanted.

Finally I'll get some alone time with her. 

She opened the door of her apartment and we entered. "Do you live all by yourself?" I asked.

"Nope. I live with Amy." She pointed at a photo. "We are BFFs. I've known her since 3rd grade. She's a year younger but treats me as if I'm her dongsaeng."

Kara opened the fridge, took a bottle of coke and handed it to me.

"What about your parents? Where do they live?" I inquired.
