Chapter 11

A few minutes ago...

It was a busy week for me, looking for new recipes for Jessica's cake and attending to other clients demands, It was quite exhausting, thanks to my staff and my able friend Nick, we were all able to get things sorted easily.

I finally got ideas on what to do about Jessica's cake after visiting some local bakery shops. I finally found an old bakery which has been in business for almost 50year, their cakes they sell taste amazing. I spoke to the manager if he can share with me some of their recipes, but he told me It was a family recipes that cannot be shared but they sell some of their mixed flavours I can buy from I was happy I got something out of it even if they won't tell me how they work their magic. After leaving their shop vowing to come back when I am not busy to enjoy the cake that wasn't made by me.

Immediately I left the shop, ideas started flowing to me and had to run back to the office to start working on them. I was glad I went out instead of just sitting in the office thinking of what to do.

I was already at the Rider's mansion. My first impression of the house "Magnificent". I Nick to follow me to the cake tasting. We were directed to the dining room by the butler and was told we should set up our cakes and Jessica will be with us in minutes.

As I arrange the table, I was looking at the decorations in the dining room, I could tell that a lot of money was put into the interior decor. It's simple, yet homey in a way I cannot explain. I wonder how the other part of the mansion will be.

I set up the cake, putting their different names against them so whoever is tasting will know what they are putting in their mouth. I had six different types of cake and prepared for 10 guests as informed by Jessica. She told me some of her friends will be present. I asked if her parents will be present, she told me it's just her and Evan, No parents. I didn't want to ask further questions, I was curious about what she meant by no parents.

I thought of Evan as I set the table. I wondered if I would see him today. I will try as much as possible to avoid him if he shows up. But I prayed that he will be so busy to even turn up.

Jessica joined us in the room, five minutes later. She looks elegant and beautiful as always. She walked towards me smiling and gave me a quick hug.

"Hmm, something smells nice" She smiled as she looked at the cakes laid on the table.

"Some of my friends will be coming over. I hope that will be okay?" she asked.

"Yes, the more the better feedback. But it's your opinion that matters because it's your day" I answered

"Thank you, Jenny, you are the best" As she was talking to me, we heard the door opened and five ladies walked in chatting and laughing out loud. They are not looking bad I thought, carefully checking the out. Then I heard one of them say,

"It's because I am more beautiful that is why she choose me to be her maid of honor," One with the blonde hair said to others.

"Yeah, yeah, now shut it, we have heard enough of your boasting, If I was around in the country I would have been chosen over you" The other blonde attacked. She is the most beautiful among all the friends and looks more sophisticated.

"Please, you guys should cut it out. this is not a competition. We were invited here to help with the cake, so get your fucking act together" The brunette shouted at the two girls arguing. She looks like she is ready to kick some ass if they refuse to listen to her.

Jessica just stood there looking at her friends laughing as they argue. she leans towards me and whispered. "You see what I deal with every day?" I smiled

The other two just stood there laughing and already at the table helping themselves to the cakes. The one with the captivating blue eye tasted one of the cake and moan as it melts in her mouth, making a face that looks like she just had the best orgasm of her life. I chuckled and happy that my cake tastes that good.

"Girls, will you keep it together for today, we have guests around you know" Jessica shouted at them as they all do their own thing without acknowledging us.

They all turned towards me, Jessica and Nick at once and looking so embarrassed.

"Steph will you stop eating those cake or we won't have any left for the rest of us," Jessica warned

"Now let me introduce you. This is the famous cake baker, Jennifer, and her assistant Nick. Jennifer, Nick meet my friends. Steph, the glutton, she can eat a house if allowed, Bella, Emma(the other hot blonde), Riley(the no nonsense one) and finally Sam.

"it's so nice to meet you all," I said smiling at them.

"Pleasure to meet you all" Nick said

They all replied all coming around to give me and Nick a hand shake.

"Now let's check out what we have on the table girls," Jessica said

They all started tasting the cake and all I can hear is

"hmmm,"

"Fantastic,"

"How did you make it taste this amazing,"

"amazing,"

"I have never tasted something like this,"

"Jenny, please tell me you have more of this cakes, I need to take some home with me,"

"Jessy you are in for it, which one are you going to choose,"

"I want all of it,"

I was so happy at the compliments, grinning from ear to ears. Glad they liked it until I heard the voice that has been tormenting me every night and day, the devil himself walked in and my heart started beating a thousand times as he walked towards us.

"Hello ladies, I see you are all having fun," he said smiling at everybody.
