Today I started my first day of my new school. To say I was excited would be over exaggerating to the point where it would be like saying the crumb on my plate is bigger the the universe. The only reason I'm even here is because my dad couldn't afford the house we had without my mom paying the bill. So we went from nice house in North Chicago to a shit house in south side. I would probably be staying in my old school if I didn't break a window and throw a glass shard at a kid, I'm not very well behaved and school isn't something I enjoy, but if I didn't go I would be stuck at home with my dad and that's worse then school. On my way to school, a few houses down from mine I saw a man laying on the cerb his arm sprawled out laying on the road. I go over to him and kick his arm on to the side walk, then I check his pulse. Welp he is still alive, he's probably a drunk like my dad. I kicked the rest of the drunk on the sidewalk so he wouldn't get run over. "You can just ignore him" I turn around to see a girl with brown messy hair "Oh I was just moving him off the road, the hospital bill is alway bigger then the injury" I said to the girl she smirked and walk on the porch. "Thanks, I'm fiona by the way" she introduce herself "Y/n" I stated. A kid walked out of the house and looked at fiona then to me "Hey carl what's up" fiona asked the kid "We need lunch" carl told her "Shit alright I'll be there in a second, see ya y/n" she said before walking into the house. I just continued my walk to school
Fiona point of view I walked back into the house and started making lunches while the electric bill box was being passed around. "Who was that outside" carl asked. "Her name was Y/n she looked about Ian's age." I stated a matter of factly "Whose my age" ian asked, walking down the stares "The new girl up the street" Debbie answer "Cool" ian said almost unamused " someone needs to take liam today" o said "I have a calculas test" lip said "I work after school " ian said " fiona I need something for show and tell"debbie told me " show them you brothers birth mark" I pushed everyone out the door and went to get ready for work.
Your point of view I was sitting in the school yard minding my own, kind of, when this chick came up to me and started talk shit to me, I wasn't really paying attention to what they were saying, until one of them mentioned my mom. Obviously they didn't mention the fact that she was dead or anything but they did say she was fat and ugly and that she's a dead beat. I stood up from where I was sitting and looked this chick dead in the eye. She didn't know I was about to drop her ass so she started giggling, she probably thought I was going run away or start crying. I inched my way closer to her, the smirk on her face slowly fading the closer I got. Once I was close enough a quietly asked "What did you just say" "I said your mom is a dead beat" Within seconds I had her on the ground. I was on top of her punching her over and over until I was dragged off. I ripped my self from the persons grip and stormed off of school property. I walked for a while until I got to a convenient store called the kash&grab I looked in my pocket and saw I had 10 bucks, I walked in to see a lady yelling at a man who was behind the counter. I just walked to the back and grabbed a can of monster then I went to the front and asked for cigarettes, the man was so busy being yelled at that he didn't ask me for ID or anything. I gave him the money and was ready to leave when the lady who was yelling at the man began to drag me into the argument. "Hey you do you think that a 30 year old man should be able to keep a 15 year old from stealing our stuff" "Don't bring costumers into this" "Shush, so what do you think" she stared at me waiting for an answer "Well I do believe that a man of any age should be able to keep a 15 year old from stealing, but if it's an issue then maybe you should get a worker that is tough or a gun." "See i told you, you shouldn't be letting kids steal." I was about to leave again when I was stopped by the woman yet again "Hey you look tough, do you need a job" "Yea I guess" "Okay well I'm Linda this is kash, you start work this afternoon, be here by 4 got it" "Yea sounds good" I finally leave the kash&grab and make it back to school I walk into the building the halls where empty so I assumed class has already started. I went to the office to get my locker number and schedule. I went to the bathroom for a quick smoke and the went to my third period class. Because that's how late I was. After third I decide that the first day was a total bust so after lunch I was gonna bail. I went to a wall in the luck yard and lit a smoke. I inhaled once before a teacher came over and told me to put it out I pretended to put it out so as soon as he walked away I continued smoking it. One minute later a kid came up to me "Hey your the girl who kicked holly's ass" "Was that her name" The dude smirked and continued "Yea she almost always gets away with anything she does because her boyfriend is an ass who would beat up anyone, even girls" he told me "Yea? I'd like to see him last two rounds fighting me" I chuckled He laughed and began to introduce himself "I'm lip" "Y/n" "Oh shit your the girl that saved us a hospital bill" he said when he figured our who I was "Huh" i stated plainly "You took my dad off the road" " Oh that was you dad" "Sadly" I laughed and then the bell rang I got up and started walking in the opposite direction of the school.
