Cassy's P.O.V

"I need to take a shower," I said to myself

I had been depressed lately, and even more stressed out because of the big test coming up at school. I turned on the shower and stepped in as relief washed over me. It felt so good to finally take a shower, after such a long day. I washed my hair and then washed my body before getting out and putting on some shorts and a long sleeve shirt.

I started to get really hungry and it was about 10:30. It was Friday, so I didn't have to worry about school the next day. I was going to have some friends over, but they were all busy. I'm absolutely terrified of being home alone, because I know that if someone tries to kill me, no one will be there to help me and I'll be hopeless. My mom had to work so I was just alone.

I plopped down on the couch and tried to relax. I heated up some food from McDonalds that I had earlier. I grabbed the remote to my TV and turned it on. The channel MTV was on and Fantasy Factory was on. I loved this show!

I stayed there watching various TV shows until about 2am and I was about to fall asleep on the couch, which I wouldn't do, because I know it makes my mom mad. At around 1:45am, I got up and went to my room and started playing King for a Day by Pierce the Veil. I blasted it considering my mom wouldn't be here to yell at me.

It was about 2:45am when I decided to go to bed, because my mom had told me we had a big day coming tomorrow. Err I guess it would be today. Okay Saturday. So I grabbed my iPhone and walked over to my dock before playing rain noises. (I can't sleep without them)

~The next day~

I woke up at 11am, and I got up and headed downstairs to say good morning to my mom. I walked down the stairs with absolutely messy hair and chirped a "Good morning mom!" at my mother.

"Well good morning sleep-head," my mother chirped back "Are you ready for today?" She asked me.

"Of course!" I almost yelled. "Let me go get ready!" I yelled.

I turned around and ran up the stairs and to my room to grab my clothing items before rushing to the bathroom to take a shower. I took my speakers in there also and blasted Panic! At The Disco. I'm guessing my mom didn't care because she didn't come and bang on the door like she does every other day.

As I got out of the shower, I blowdried and curled my hair before throwing on a muscle tank and some blue to white gradient shorts along with my sparkly blue vans. I put on my foundation, my eye-shadow, mascara, and eyeliner, before topping it all off with my chap stick. I ran downstairs and my mom looked at me and immediately she said I looked beautiful. I thanked her and then we headed to the car.

Today was mother-daughter day, and I loved this day. It was my favorite of all days. I took a picture of my mom and I and posted it on Instagram with a caption saying "Mother-daughter day! First the mall then dinner! Best mom ever! #mymomsbetterthanyourmom" and with that, I started blasting cheesy songs on the stereo and sang along with my mom.
