Bethany looked at the picture in her hands and sighed. It was a family photo they took years ago. It had everybody, even Jordan. She still couldn't believe it has been 9 years since she saw her brother last. Just that last memory of him with her in person, it stuck with her over the years. Sure they could still talk over Gmod but he mostly just talked about how Sally and his daughter was doing, if not just asking how his siblings were. Bethany smiled a little at the thought. She wished she could meet her niece. She sounded pretty cool from what Jordan would always say.
"Oh, I love that picture! We had a ton of fun at the park." Cierra smiled walking up from behind Bethany.
Now snapped from her thoughts, Bethany turned and smiled sadly back.
"Yeah, it was pretty fun. I just really miss Jordan you know?" Bethany answered, lowering the picture back onto the table.
Cierra made a confused face before pointing to the general direction of the main computer.
"You could just go over and talk to him now?" Cierra asked, not sure what her sister was talking about.
Bethany sighed and sat on the couch, letting herself sink into the cushions.
"That's not what I mean. What I mean is to actually be able to see him in person. All I have ever wanted for years now is to hug Jordan, to know that he is right there by my side again. Even if I had to wait a million years for it, that is all I ever want. I just really miss being able to just walk to his room and see him there, you know?" Bethany says, looking up from the floor to meet Cierras eyes.
Now Cierra's eyes were filled with sadness and understanding. They all missed Jordan, they really did. She understood her sisters desire to just see her brother again, even for a second. Now with a thicker feeling in the air, Cierra sat on the table in front of Bethany, her head lowered.
"Yeah, I know exactly what you mean." Is all she said, her eyebrows making her look drawn.
The sisters sat in a lonely silence until Isaac walked in, holding his laptop. He stopped in front of the sisters, hoping he wasn't interrupting anything.
"Guys we have a problem, and not a small one either," Isaac said seriously.
Bethany looked up at Isaac while Cierra let her face loosen into a more relaxed state. Isaac quickly sat next to Bethany on the couch and opened up his computer.
"So today I was going to talk to Jordan when I noticed Gmod wouldn't open up. I thought it was just the computer so I used Cierra's computer, but I got the same result." Isaac started, starting to search something on his computer.
Bethany and Cierra gave a small look at each other before looking back at Isaac, wondering where he was going with this.
"Then after I found out none of the computers would open it, I decided to Google it." Isaac started to say again. "Turns out, Gmod is completely not working. Nobody can get it to turn on. It is as if it shut itself down but is still working. Like Gmod closed the window from our world to theirs."
Bethany and Cierra blinked a few times shocked. How is that possible? Garry's mod was technically its own dimension. How was it that it isn't working?
"So we have absolutely no way of contacting Jordan?" Bethany spoke, worry laced in her voice.
Isaac gave a small nod, closing his computer that held all the reports of Garry's mod not working.
"Although we couldn't reach him before remember? All the models wouldn't spawn at all these past 2 months." Isaac said sadly. "So technically we haven't been able to contact him anyway."
The two sisters look down with even more sadness. If anything this was even worse than what they had before.
"I hope Jordan is okay..." Cierra spoke softly.
Prince Isaac's POV
"Somebody please..." I cry out weakly for the last time.
The cold dampness of the prison basement makes me shiver a little. I look up at the cell across from me and see my brother. He is still hidden in a corner, too shocked to even comprehend what is going on. Honestly, I don't even know where she put my other siblings in this God forsaken prison halls. I let out a small sob as I start to realize we have no hope. Nobody can save us from her, not even the alfa clones. She already butchered the only way to get there. I can only imagine what she has done to the kingdom. I think for the first time in years I am terrified of what may hold next. I just want somebody to save us, save us from this place that is now hell.
(Woahhhhh what happened there? Who is this mysterious girl? Who knows! ;) Hope you all enjoyed this beginning part of the new book. I know this must be very exciting, it definitely is for me! Fun fact, I don't actually ship Jordan and Sally together. I just wanted to have some kind of romance in the first book and that just so happened to be that two haha. Though I admit I ship them in this series.)
