chapter 1

skylar's POV

*alarm goes off*

Ughh why does school exist? 

'okay out of bed! It's the first day of school.' mom yelled from downstairs. Oh how i hated that.

i rush out bed and get in the shower, the only thing that's giving me motivation right now is seeing my friends and kaelin.

I go downstairs for breakfast and as soon as i finish i get to school.

As soon as i enter class the first thing or rather the first person i see is Kaelin and for a minute my heart 'warms' up because i like him but i've never had the courage to tell him how i really feel but i plan to change things this year. 

I hug all of my friends and we talk about how the christmas break was.

*bell rings* 

Ughh...assembly. let's go.

*lunch break*

'Hey Kaelin'

'Hi.'

'so I really wanted t-'

'Have you seen sloan?'

'no'

Kaelin's POV

 I need to tell Sloan how i feel about her. I should find her. Lemme ask Nora if she's seen her.

'Hey Nora, have you seen Sloan?'

'Yeah she's in the field.'

'Thanks'

I run to field hoping that she's alone. 

'Hi Sloan. We should talk.'

'Hi, I think so too'I don't know if what i'm about to say is stupid or if it's a good thing, but i'm gonna come right out and say it. I like you. A lot'

'You should know that what you did was not stupid. I like you too.'

' Do you wanna date me. Because i really wanna date you.'

'Yes i wanna date you.'

*Kaelin smiles*

Skylar's POV 

I should text Nora. 

Me : Hiii

Nora: Hiiiii 

Me: wyd?

Nora: I'm chilling. you?

Me: Same. I like Kaelin

Nora: i knew ittttt!
