The most difficult thing is the decision to act, the rest is merely tenacity. The fears are paper tigers. You can do anything you decide to do. You can act to change and control your life; and the procedure, the process is its own reward.

Athena's POV
"Ashfield boarding school for troubled youths and delinquents." I read the metal sign as we drive past. Billy drove down the long and drive way to stop only at the gate. I lean forward in my seat to see the whole thing. "Holy fudge noodles." I muttered looking up at the large gate, it looked as if it was made for a place like Hogwarts not a normal boarding school.
The iron gate was most definitely at least a few centuries old. Of course, it could have been made to look that way but it's making bore the marks of tools only available a hundred years ago. It was a clear fifteen feet tall and made of twisted black rods. At the end, some were curled in convoluted patterns and opportunist spiders had created webs there.
Billy chuckled at my choice of language then leans out the window to buzz the intercom. After a few seconds, a jolly voice sounds from the intercom. "Hello, how can I help you to day?"
"It's me and I have the new kid." Billy replies smiling.
"Oh, hey man, it's been a while how are you and how is he?" All the formality disappears from both boys and billy seems to relax a little. Wait did he say he!? I turn towards him, my eyes practically bulging out of my head. Why the hell does he think I'm a dude?
Suddenly quite pissed I lean over Billy and yell at the dude on the other side of the intercom. "I don't know who you are but I am not a dude, get your facts right Mr!"
The line goes dead for a few seconds before there is some shuffling on the other end and a loud laugh comes through the other end. "She? So, she's a feisty one huh? The schools in for a surprise then huh?"
This just make Billy laugh harder. I can't believe he thought I was a guy. I hope nobody else expects me to be a dude, does this school not do its research before they accept psycho kids in?
"They sure are but they'll get a bigger one once they meet her properly." Billy chuckles, tapping the wheel with his thumb. "She's really gonna shake the school. Come on in then." I stare quizzically at Billy but he just winks and puts the car in gear.
The gates slowly open to reveal an old brick house that's almost as big as Hogwarts itself. The castle like building was covered in vines and old gargoyles that looked like they were staring into my soul.
I fake a shiver. "And here will Athena Grayson take her last breath." Billy looks over at me with a raised eyebrow. "What I can be dramatic when I want to." He simply chuckles and drives us closer to the creepy school.
-----------------------------
Walking through the doors the first thing I see is a big security guard, holding a portable metal detector thing. Oh shit. I look at Billy and swallow. "Is that really necessary, I mean you now I'm an angel. Why would I hide anything?" I bat my eyelashes and he just shakes his head.
"It's a precaution Miss Grayson. Anyway, I saw your horns from a mile away." He walks away and I stare at him as he high fives the security guy. A large grin comes to my face as I stare proudly at my guard. I'm really starting to like this guy.
"Okay Miss Grayson please walk through, unless you really do have something to hide ?"
I just smile. "Nope." Liar, liar pants on fire.
