All Wrong

Alice jolted awake. She thought she heard someone screaming. The voice sounded so real, piercing and agonizing. Like someone's being tortured, gruesome images started flittering through Alice's mind as she shuddered. She rubbed her face and shoved her hazel brown hair back. Alice knew she could not go back to sleep anymore with all that images going around in her head. So she got up from her bed and headed towards the bathroom.

Filling up the tub, she started stripping down her clothes and dipped into the warm bath. She sigh in contentment. Never have she felt so in bliss or in heaven before. She is really starting to love this place... Maybe she could let down her guard now...

Slowly, she took a small amount of the rose shampoo onto her palm and gently sifting it through her long hair.It was a sinful pleasure. She was intoxicated by the feeling as she hummed softly. Alice felt like she could be in the tub forever...

If the knock on her door wasn't coming from her door...

Dragging her wet body out reluctantly, she quickly dried herself and slipped on a black tank top and her jeans. The knocking grew frantic, so Alice hurried on to open the door.

Right outside her door stood a barbie doll. Her eyes as blue as sapphire and her skin as pale as the moonlight. Her blond curls looked unnaturally perfect, not a strand out of place. Alice couldn't believe her eyes when the doll blinked and scowled at her.

"I thought you were dead in there you know? I was like knocking for a few hours!" She said, pushing through her and plopped down onto her bed. "Excuse me?" Alice asked, frowning. She was irritated. This girl just barged into her room, disrupted her from her heavenly bath and now, sitting on her bed like they know each other for a very long time? And looking like a perfect barbie doll... That, was unacceptable...

"Oops, I've forgot the introduction... I'm Veronika, your cousin." she said winking. What the...? "Do you know that the rose shampoo you used is wayyyy too much? I could smell your scent like from the hallway." Wait what? Scent? "Sorry Veronika but I think.." Alice started but was cut off swiftly by Veronika as she gasped loudly. "Oh my, look at that stiletto! That's Jimmy Choos right? Can I have it?" Yes! Anything to get you out of my room! Alice nearly said but she bit it down. "Yes,sure. I hate stiletto. "

Veronika's eyes brightened. "Aw that's so nice of you! OMG! Look at the time! I've got to go..." Within seconds, Veronika took the stiletto and said "By the way cuz, you should wear that green dress and stop wearing jeans. Its so... Nevermind! We'll hang out later... Au revoir!"

With that, she left in a flash... Alice heaved a sigh of relief. What a cousin... Closing the door behind, Alice thought about what Veronika had said...

The words she used was just wrong... Scent? And how in the world could she smell it? Even Alice couldn't. She tried,sniffing at her hair. What is wrong? There is something extremely wrong...She just can't shrug off that nagging feeling...Sighing at herself, she took the green dress out of her closet and stared at it for a few minutes. Should I? She thought. Sigh, just for good luck... And she changed.

Walking down the hallway was awkward. Everywhere she walked, everyone stared. "Oh look, if it isn't the new girl." a familiar cocky voice said from behind. Alice groaned inwardly. Seriously? Now? "Go away you jerk." He chuckled. "Hey, I have a name. It's Ajax. I know we started off on the wrong side. So I'm just trying to make it right." Alice pondered. Should she give in? Everyone was staring at them, all whispering under their breath.

"Fine," Alice said, turning to face him. His black hair was in an unruly mess, his intense grey eyes was piercing into hers making it hard for her to breathe. "I'm Alice." He smiled. "I know, everyone knows that. We are just curious though. Why, are you in the first class?" Huh? That was unexpected. But everyone seems to nod looking curious as well... In fact, Alice was curious too... Ajax cock his left brow up, looking at her intently waiting for an answer "Well, I don.." "Ajax." A silky smooth voice interrupted.

What is wrong with everyone here? Can't the girl speak? Every conversation she had seem to get cut off all the time. Before she could say something sarcastic. She saw Ajax tensed, his face hardened as he turned. "What do you want Mitrix?" Alice shifted her eyes to the guy, Mitrix and her jaw dropped. He is beautiful.

Light blond hair and the light green eyes with blue rim near its iris. Perfect muscled body and gorgeous smile. He is perfect.

"Hi Alice, I'm sorry I've missed the party last night... I'm Mitrix Dybbuk. I will be in the same class with you." Mitrix said, smiling, his dimples showing. All the girls sighed looking at him but Alice blushed. He is too beautiful, too perfect to be real and he was talking to her... What can she say? "Err..." Smooth Alice, real smooth..."It's okay erm, that's cool... I mean... in the same class with you... Errmmm..."

Ajax glared at Mitrix and looked over at Alice who is blushing like an idiot, stammering. God. Ajax must be ridiculing her in his head. But when Alice looked at him, he seemed angry for just a second before turning it into an ugly smirk "Well then, I guess the 'first class' is here. I'd better be going. See you around..." With that, he left them there heading to the Second class. Jerk!

After Ajax's departure. The rest of the students scurried back to Class Two and Class Three. It seems like no one is in the first class... ...

"Well wasn't that awkward..." Mitrix said, breaking off the silence. The hallway is empty now, leaving the both of them alone. Alice gulped. "Yup" Mitrix covered his mouth hiding a smile "What?" Alice asked annoyed. Was there something on her face? "Nothing... Anyway, you look beautiful in this dress."

Alice felt her heart thumped. Oh God.... This isn't good... Change the subject!!! Change the subject!!!

"So...How did you know Ajax?" Alice asked as she walked slowly down into the classroom. She needed to calm her heart down before it popped out of her chest."It's a long story... We used to be friends anyway... But something happened...And now... ..." Mitrix murmured, guilt written all over his face...

Bad move... Just great...Alice quickly got rid of the subject and tried again "So... What are the classes like?" This time, Mitrix's sad smile turned into a mischievous chuckle. "You'll see..."

It was the worse 3hours of her life and to think that there are another 3more hours to go is just too much! Alice didn't even want to talk about it. All the classes were boring lectures, assesments and studies. The lecturers didn't even bother to introduce her to the class. The green dress she wore was irritating her to the core as well. Ugh... And here she was thinking it would give her some luck... The only good thing was Mitrix kept smiling in her direction during all the dull classes which actually made the situation a whole lot better. Alice walked out of the class smiling at that...

"Hey cuz!" Veronika said waving at her, snapping her out of her thoughts. Apparently they were in the same class as well... "Hey Veronika." Alice said, forcing a smile. She was surrounded by girls and guys from all classes. All of them trying all their best to please her... Who is she anyway? "Guys, meet my cousin Alice Darksky. " Everyone turned and smiled wide, their faces stretched unnaturally. The sight was horrid, like dolls being manipulated under Veronika's strings. What made it worse was that, they all said Hi together in unison. "So what do you think cuz? Want to join us?"

Alice looked at Veronika. Her electric blue eyes shone with vicious malevolent and evil. The hostility she just showed was scary. Alice trembled. Something's wrong... The classes, the people... Everything... Alice quickly shook away all the insecurity and fear and replied forcing a smile"Nah, I am kinda tired... Maybe next time..." Veronika smiled back "Okay cuz, see you around then"

Uhh-OHH, I feel a bad vibe and a cat fight coming... Are you guys ready for the drama to start? Because its starting soon..... .....
