"Alex!" John said. "John what's wrong?" I asked worried because he was covered in blood. "Hunters! They are starting a war with all werewolves." He said to me. I panicked and kept asking him what are we going to do. 'Hey everyone need to come to the living room for a meeting now!' John screamed through mind link. After about 5 minutes everyone was in the living room. We aren't really a big pack there's only about 20 of us. "If any of you see a hunter attack on sight. We are in a war with them now and it's going to be a long one, understood?" Everyone nodded at John. "Listen, you all have to respect and listen to Alex and her mate now they are now the betas of this pack and one of them will soon be the alpha." I was shocked by what John just said. I was happy, but also sad because in order for one of us to become alpha, John either has to die or step down. After an hour went by John sent us to our rooms.

"Alex? What are you thinking about?" Heaven asked "Nothing, let's just go to sleep." She nodded at me and we went to our bed and cuddled. I played with her perfect long blond hair while I thought about what John said. Like he was reading my mind he walked in my room and sat on my desk chair. "I know what you're thinking, but I don't have an answer for you. I might die or I might step down." "But John I don't think that me or Heaven are ready I mean.." "Alex calm down it's going to be okay. You two will be fine." He got up and kissed me on the forehead and left my room. After he left I fell asleep.

I wake up to Heaven screaming at me. "Why are you screaming?" I ask her "because you need to get up right now!" she shouted. She only yell at me when she is upset or mad, so I jumped up and hugged her. "What's wrong?" "Nothing I just needed you Alex." she softly say into my neck.
