Hey everyone, my beautiful girlfriend caitlinneil7 and I have been writing a few books. I've decided to post another of our finished books. Enjoy.~Britt

Camila couldn't believe this, first her mother dies at the hands of a drunk driver and now she's being forced to move into another woman's home. Of course her father had been seeing this woman while still living with her mother, but at least they were separated. Sometimes she wishes she could go live with Dante, her mother's ex-fiance.

"Karla, I promise you'll have a good time, she has a daughter in the same grade as you, maybe a year younger than you." Alejandro Cabello said trying to coax his seventeen year old daughter to get in the car.

Rolling her eyes, Camila grabs her laptop bag and headphones, getting into the car and opening her laptop to work on one of her mixes.

Alejandro sighed heavily, knowing it was useless to push his daughter any further than he already had. "I'm sure you'll like her." He said quietly before turning the steering wheel and beginning to drive.

Ignoring him, Camila pulls on her headphones and begins messing with her mixes, combining Bruno Mars' Just The Way You Are with Nelly's Just A Dream.

Before she knew it, Alejandro was tapping her shoulder to get her attention.

"What?" Camila asked, pulling her headphones off her head.

"We are here." Alejandro replied softly, pointing to the house they had stopped in front of.

Sighing, Camila saves her mix and quickly shuts her laptop before putting it back in it's bag. "I'm not calling her mom."

"I'm not asking you to." Alejandro sighed. "All I ask is that you respect her and her daughter. Respect how they live and who they are."

Rolling her eyes, Camila got out of the car. "Am I at least going to have my own room?"

"No, you are sharing a room with her daughter Lauren." Her father said in return.

Groaning, Camila moved to the back of the car and grabbed the rest of her music stuff. The movers had already gotten their things from home.

"Let's get this shit over with then." She mumbled, rolling her eyes.

"Language, Karla." Alejandro scolded. "I don't want you to use that foul language in front of Lauren or her mother."

Camila rolled her eyes again. "It's Cam-EE-la." She growled under her breath, following him up to the porch.

Alejandro ignored his daughter's growling and lifted his arm. He knocked softly on the door.

When the door swung open to reveal a beautiful green eyed blonde, Camila rolled her eyes again and shifted.

"Ale," the woman said with a smile as she stepped forward and kissed his cheek.

"Can we get inside? This shits heavy." Camila grunts out, lifting her music bags higher.

"Language, Karla." Alejandro scolded.

"Come in." The woman moved aside. "You can just put the bags at the bottom of the stairs my daughter will help you take them to her- or should I say your room." She corrected herself. "A little bit of warning though, Lauren can be a little shy sometimes when it comes to new people but I'm sure she'll be fine."

Rolling her eyes, Camila walks inside. "Where's my room." She says coldly, not putting her bags down.

"Lauren, come out here. I have people I want you to meet." The woman called softly.
