His hands gripped my thigh as we drove through the now empty streets of LA my hand rested on-top of his lightly stroking his knuckles.The soft music playing in the background hardly audible yet we both still hummed along.The light breathing in the back that seemed so new to us made me smile.Every now and then I turned around admiring the sleeping baby.
It all seemed so surreal he was finally here with us after what had seemed like forever.Soon enough we had pulled up to our home Conor was first out of the car making sure to open my door for me so I could step out.He was already stood with the baby carrier in his hand soft snores emitting from the small human fast asleep.We made sure to get in the house quick so Junior didn't feel cold as we walked in the patter of dog feet headed our way and we where soon joined by mine and Conor's French bull dog Gucci.He seemed to recognise the unfamiliar tiny human and the fact that my stomach wasn't ye size of a watermelon anymore because he begun sniffing around us."Gucci move boy"I ushered the small dog into the living room waddling in discomfort Conor following behind."look
Whose finally here Gucci"Conor's voice came out in a whisper making sure not to wake the sleeping baby.I smiled as I watched Guccis head turn as if he understood what Conor was telling him."It's baby Conor"I cooed touching his tiny hands.
"Looks like you have another person to protect now boy"Conor's hand began unclipping Junior from the carrier surprisingly he didn't wake he just seemed to relax under his fathers touch.I smiled at the scene in front of me everything looked so perfect.
"Look at my little champ he's already putting his fists up"I laughed as Baby Conor's hands balled up everything in this moment was so perfect and I wouldn't change it for the world
