Enjoy!I turned off the lights and made my way to bed. He held the covers up as I slipped into bed. I snuggled close to him as he wrapped the blankets around us. He kept me close to him as he turned onto his back. I laid my head against his chest as I rested my hand on his stomach. I drift off to sleep in his arms, he was soon asleep as well. I was awaken by the sound of our cat meowing, I moved out of his grip and got up out of bed. I turned the light on in the hallway and made my way downstairs. I found our cat Jackson at the back door meowing, the wind was blowing like crazy out. I opened the door and looked up at the sky, the storm was rolling in. I closed the door making sure it was locked and went around making sure the windows were closed. I finally calmed Jackson down and we both made our way back upstairs. Jackson laid down in his bed as I got back in bed with Gray, he pulled me close to him. I smiled as I peeked his cheek before snuggling back to him.
"Where did you go?" he groaned.
"Jackson was meowing, there is a storm coming in" I whispered.
"Go back to bed" he rubbed my arm.
I snuggled back to him as we both drifted off to sleep once again. The storm rolled through but never did I image that it would change things. The house started to rattle, the power had shut off. Jackson once again was meowing downstairs, the rain started to pound the house. I woke up but this time I wasn't the only one that woke up. Grayson woke up as well, sitting up in the bed. I looked back at him before getting up out of bed. There was something telling me not to go downstairs and I couldn't shake it off. I walked back to the bedroom and looked out the window, the wind was shaking the trees. It started to thunder, it seemed like it was right over top of us. I sat back on the bed, Gray moved behind me wrapping his arms around me. He knew I hated storms and this one was a monster of a storm.
"Its ok, you are safe" he whispered in my ear.
"I hate storms" I leaned back against him.
"I know" he kissed my cheek as he tighten his grip on me.
I closed my eyes as I rested against him. I just wanted the storm to end but I knew I was safe with Grayson. We jumped when we heard a crashing sound downstairs. He left me on the bed as he went downstairs, a tree branched crashed into the window. There was glass everywhere and of course everything was getting wet. I finally found the courage to get up and come downstairs. I could see a Grayson shadow in the kitchen, but the lights were still out.
"Grayson?" I asked as I placed my hand on the window.
"Stay where you are a babe, " he called out.
"Where are you?" I stood still.
He found his way over to me, placing his arms around me. I wrapped my arms around his stomach as he kissed my forehead. The storm had seemed to slow down, we finally made our way back upstairs. He leads me back to the bed, we got back into it. I searched for my phone on the night stand and finally found it. The light was bright but I could at least see what time it was. I laid back on the bed as he sat beside me, placing his hand on my leg. He shifted his weight as he moved up the bed. Peeking my lips softly before laying down next to me. I reached for his hand, intertwining our fingers as we lay in the dark. I ended up falling asleep against him, he was soon up again as the sun started to peek through the window. I started to move under the covers as I felt for his warm body. I sat up, stretching as I wonder where he was, I dangled my feet over the edge. The cold floor sent chills down my spine, I reached the closet putting his sweatshirt on. I finally made my way downstairs, leaning against the doorway into the kitchen. He was sweeping up all the glass from the window breaking.
