Heather and I sat on the couch. I was officially three months in. I kept trying to tell Hiccup, but he was either busy with work, or laughing about being a dad.

"So, doc said everything looks fine." Heather said.
"Yeah. That's good."
"You and the baby are healthy so that's great. Now...dose Hiccup know?"
"I tried to tell him earlier...but he was busy, and before we left but he laughed when I asked him."

She hugged me.
"Astrid... I think you need to straight up tell him."
"Heather... Your right...can we wait until the ultrasound tommrow?"
"Yeah. Whatever you need."
"Thanks Heather. Your the best."
"You deserve the best."

We hugged.

(Time skip.)
"Give me a moment Gobber." Hiccup said.

He lowered his phone as I walked by, grabbing my purse.
"Where are you off to M'lady?"
"Heather and I have to do some shopping." I lied.
"Sounds fun. Ash, look.."
"Yeah?"
"What you  said about having kids... If you want them, then I'll do it for you. But right now isn't a good time. Ok? Mabye in a year or to. I love you."
"I love you to." I said .

We kissed. He walked away talking to Gobber.

I got into the car and sat down. Heather looked at me.
"Ash?"
"He's on board with having kids..."
"That's great!''
"In probably a year."

Her face fell.
"Ash... You could always put the baby up for a-"
"No...no... I want this baby to have the life I never had."

She nodded.
"I'll be here for you."

She pulled out of the driveway and drove off.

(Time Skip)

Hiccup wasn't home.
"Remind me agian.. how many?!?" Heather asked.
"Girl. Two girls..." I said.

She started crying agian. With happiness. I places the pictures down on the counter and hugged her.
"Ash... Oh Thor..."

(Time skip.)

Hiccup came into the room. Both hands behind his back.

Toothless looked at him and came to sit next to me with Stormfly.
"Hey Hiccup." Heather said.
"Hi ba-"
"When?" He asked.
"What?" I asked.

He walked forward and handed me...the envelope worth the baby pictures.

Shit...
"How long?" He asked.
"H-"
"How long?!?''
"Three months..."

He nodded and walked away a little. Then kicked over a picture in rage.
"WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?!?" he screamed.

I blinked. Heather held my hand.
"H-hiccup...I tried... I-i really d-"
"I THINK I SHOULD HAVE KNOWN THAT YOUR PREGNANT! ARE THEY MINE?!?"
"Did you really just ask that?!?" Heather asked.
"ARE THEY MINE?!?''
"Yes..." I said, fearfully.
"WHAT IN THOR'S NAME?!?  WHY DIDN'T YOU TELL ME?!!"
"I tried! You didn't li-"
"FORGET IT!"

He walked out the door and slammed it. I stared at the broken picture. Stormfly brought it over. It was our first date.

Heather hugged me as I started to sob.
"Ash..."
"Heather...can I stay with you for a while?" I asked

She stood and went to the kitchen. She came back with all of my stuff.
"Let's go." She said.

I put Stormfly on her leash. I kissed Toothless.
"Be good ok?"

He whined and we left.
