I walked inside my house and to my surprise it was empty. I looked as if it’s been deserted for weeks. I walked into the kitchen and seen a note on the fridge. I haven’t been home since that whole accident and I was still a little iffy. I picked it up and begin to read it.

I hope you had fun last time. I know me and my friends did. Me and your mother went to Chicago for a couple weeks. I had to find a way to make some money and your mom is the perfect candidate J Oh and you better tell whoever you staying with goodbye. When I get back YOU will be coming back home. Sincerely, Darryl
I ripped up the note and sighed shaking my head. I’m not staying here; I don’t even know why I came back. I felt something in my pocket and grew confused. I chuckled as I remember Comar bought me a phone so we could keep in touch. I looked and seen there was a message for Comar.
Mar Mar:
Hey Raine, I’m checking on you. I wanna make sure your safe. Text back if you need anything.
Raine Baby:
Uh, yea I’m fine Comar. I was wondering if you could pick me up from my house.
Mar Mar:
Yea, wya?
I texted him the address and he said he was on his way here. I ran upstairs to grab me some clothes. I threw my saved up money in my bag and my old converses. I shook my head and walked out the room. I for damn sure won’t miss being here. I looked around the house one last time before walking out the front door.
A couple minutes later Comar’s all black Range Rover pulled up. I walked over and hopped in the truck.
“Hey Beautiful” Comar said pulling off down the block. I blushed and looked at him.
“Hey Comar” I said smiling. He looked over at me and chuckled.
“Lauraine , I got a serious question” he said staring at me. I shrugged my shoulders.
“Wassup?”
“Do you like me?” he asked and I almost chocked on my spit. I looked at him in disbelief and shook my head quickly.
“You sure?”
“Positive” I chocked out. To be completely honest I like Comar… a lot. Everything about him makes me want him. His attitude, his style, his intelligence, how he cares about me, his smile… just everything. I sighed looking out the window and he touched my arm. I jumped a little and looked over at him.
“You ok?”
“Yea, I’m fine.”
“Alright, you want something to eat or anything before we get to the house?” he asked
“Nah, I’m not really hungry.” I lied. I hate when people try to buy me things. I feel cheap as hell. I begged Comar to take the phone back but he insisted on me keeping it. We pulled up in his drive way and another car was already there. He shook his head and hopped out. I followed him and we walked inside the house.
“COMAR! Is that you?!” A lady yelled.
“Yea ma, it’s me.” He said. She walked down the steps and looked at us.
“Well hello son and who might this be?” she asked looking me over. I became nervous and she smiled.
“This is my friend Lauraine mom. She staying with me for a minute.” He said and she nodded her head.
