I wrote this way back there I think it was back in the year 2000 not sure cant remember anyways I wrote this with Monica we made this up and we don't know Nsync or anyone its made up hope you all like it. :)
Chapter 1 Part A Finding Love On the Net
"Mark my words----by the end of the first quarter, we'll both be dating gorgeous seniors," my best friend, Mandy Moore, said as she followed me down the corridor to our fourth-period class. I stepped carefully on the buffled floor, praying I wouldn't slip in my brand-new, stack-heeled penny loafers. "Sounds great, but I'd just settle for a date for the homecoming dance."
"We're Seniors now, Monica," Mandy said, "It doesn't hurt to set your sights a little higher." Suddenly While we were walking down the hallway Mandy's expression became intent, and she stopped dead in her tracks when She seen our best friend Letha walking down the hallway with the Hottest guys ever she was holding Lance Bass's hand and walking along the side of Justin Timberlake. He was like the most popular guy including the other guys.
"Hold on a second." Mandy said. "What's wrong??" I asked, slipping my way down the ramp and coming to a stop at the entrance to the classroom. Mandy's lips scrunced up as if she were concentrating hard, waiting intently for something to happen. Then, out of the blue, Hunky Justin Timberlake and Lance Bass Star Started of the Basketball team, came barreling down the corner with our best friend Letha. We watched as they zoomed past us and tried not to drool.
"How did you do that??" I asked, my eyes still glued to the three of them. Mandy Shook her head. "It's like a sixth sense or something" She said. "Or maybe it's like radar--but lately I always know when a cute guy is around or hanging with our best friend." She tossed her hair over one shoulder. "It's a gift that I must use to benefit all of Womankind."
I laughed. "I hate to be pessimistic, but even with a remarkable talent as yours, I doubt either one of us could get a date with Justin, or any other gorgeous senior for that matter." Mandy Shurrged "Okay, then I'll settle for an average-looging senior with a cute dog." She said as we started walking into the class room when we were stopped by our friend Leigh. "Hey you two what's up??" Letha asked. "Not to much but how in the world did that come along??" Mandy asked her.
"Oh me walking with Lance and Justin??" Letha smiled. "Yea that" I laughed. "Oh Well you see it happen the other day I was at the store and all of a sudden Justin and Lance came up to me and gave me there phone number and told me to call so I called we talked things led to one thing and the next thing I knew we were talking and becoming friends" Letha replied. I always knew that Leigh had a thing for picking up the cute boys but I often wondered why she didnt start sooner.
The three of us walked into the computer class. There was only one computer section available so we took the three that was in the back of the class so we wouldn't get caught chatting online or to each other. "You can set your sights on a steady guy," I said picking the lint off my lavender shirt. "But the only thing I'm worrying about is homecoming." Mandy knew exactly what I was talking about so the two of us had this idea that we would put an personal ad on the computer. At first I thought it was crazy then I relaized that it couldnt hurt to see who all would contact us.
Part B Chapter 1 Finding Love On The Net
Mr. Meyers glanced down at us disapporvingly through his eyeglasses. I ducked behind the computer and whispered to Mandy, "You remember what happened last year?" Mandy's mouth twitched at the corners, and I could tell she was trying not to laugh. "What?? You mean Erik??" I shuddered. "It was so embrassing it was bad enough that he wore a purple tux that was two sizes too big, but when he started flailing on the dance floor...." My stomach churned from the memory. That had to have been one of the worst nights of my life.
"That's what you get for going with your aunt's cousin's son" Mandy snickered. "BUt I wanted to go so badly and he was hot" I said in my own defense. "AHEM" Mr. Myeres worked his way to the back of the room, I looked over at my Letha who was in a daze she must have been thinking about Lance or she would have been paying attention in class. I then looked at Mandy "Why don't come to mine and Letha's rehearsal tonight??" I said slyly. "Robert's going to be there"
"No thinks" Mandy sneered in disgust. I then leaned over and whispered to Letha in her ear. "I think we should get Mandy to join our group it would be fun but she want come because of Robert" Letha got a devilous smile on her face and she says "Why dont you tell her that Justin is going to be there" I then knew that Leigh had a plan to get Mandy to join our group. "Mandy Leigh said that Justin would be there so why not come and check it out??" I looked at her. She had got a smile on her face and I knew right then that she was going to come.
Mr. Meyers cleared his throat loudly. "Class quiet down!!" Everyone came to a stop they got as quiet as a mouse it was funny. Mr. Meyeres passed out the papers for us to start working on an assignment and gave a list of materials we needed to get started. We all sighed because this was a borning assignment he never gave us anything fun to do. It was the beginning of a new School year. "Ill come" She smiled and then added "I already sent in the ad we talked about remember??" I looked at her and nodded "I can't believe we are going through...." I was cut off by Mr. Meyers. "Class now in this assignment you all will be given an email address but the only thing to that is that its only used through the school and no out side connection" Leigh, Mandy and I were amazed to find out that the school was fianlly letting us students get the chance to use the internet.
A bunch of the guys in front of us were making a list of things to do on the net while the rest of the class were doing the assignment. As soon as school ended that afternoon, I grabbed my backpack with my music in it and headed for Club Joe's, Where Leigh and I rehearsed. Joe's was a small cafe on Main and Forth Street where only local bands played we needed a third singer to make our group complete. Our group hadnt became popular yet but it was getting there everyone would come to see us and listen to us. Walking to the Cafe was a bit of strain, since my backpack was crammed with homework assignments and books, but I didnt mind.
Leigh, Mandy and I walked into Joe's and we were greeted by Joe. "Hey girls nice to see you" he gave us a hug and we introduced him to Mandy. His smooth, round face was tanned from spending the summer at his parents beach house. I held one of my arms against his and it was burning up. "It must have hurt" I said to him. "It did but now its gotten better the rest of the group is waiting on your girls to hurry and get changed oh by the way you and Leigh have two vistors" Joe said to us. We walked over and Leigh introduced us to the guys and we started rehearsing. It went on for an hour then we all went home and got some rest.
