Surgery Gone Wrong

Ok before I start the chapter I just want to say I am very very very sorry for not updating! I suck! I'm sorry! 😩

Doctors POV

I started to drill into Louis's skull. My hands were shaking, this boys life was in my hands.

As soon as I got in there his heart monitor started beeping rapidly. I had to hurry I went in put a couple staples in......done.

The heart monitor was normal again and I closed his skull up. He should be fine.

Louis's POV

I woke up all groggy and thirsty. I had a headache and my eyelids felt heavy.

"Hello?! Anyone?!"

"Calm down son." my dad said, I could hear him but could not see him.

"You're gonna be fine sweetie." That's my mom.

"Am I still alive? Am I going to be ok? What exactly happened?"

"I went in and fixed your head. How are feeling?" the doctor said.

"Ok."

"How many fingers do I have up?"

It looked like five but a thumb and pinky don't really count.

"Three, plus a thumb and pinky."

"Very good. Well, it should only take you about a week to recover, so we will need to keep you here so that we can make sure there are none of the side effects."

"Ok."

"Get some rest though, that sometimes helps you recover faster."

I didn't want to go to sleep but at the moment it seemed like a really good idea. I slowly closed my eyes and drifted to sleep.

Brittany's POV

I have been sitting in my room all day looking out my window to see when Louis will get home. When I got home I started balling, and I told my mom what happened and she said that it wasn't my fault. I felt like it was though and I don't think there is anything I can do to make it up to him.

I have been texting him all day but it's no use.

"Brittany! Dinner time!" my mom shouts from down stairs.

I haven't eaten since yesterday, but I feel like I can't eat until I hear Louis is okay.

"I'm not hungry!"

"Honey, you need to eat!"

"I don't feel like it! Leave me the fuck alone!"

"Hey! You watch your language!"

"Whatever."

I feel like shit and none of the boys will talk to me. Everyone is blaming me at school for what happened. Speaking of school I have to get to sleep at a reasonable hour.

I lay back on my bed and close my eyes.

Harry's POV

I feel terrible for what happened. I shouldn't have treated Brittany like that now she will never be mine. She will probably follow Louis around like a lost puppy when he gets out of the hospital.

Everything got out of hand so fast. I didn't have time to react. This never would've happened if Brittany would've never came here.

Summer is like really fun! But it is over.
