Diagnosis

Harry's POV

So far all I knew was that Louis was really hurt. When we got here they took him straight into a room and about five nurses followed.

I couldn't believe that this was real I mean I didn't know that Louis was so protective. I was just kidding but Brittany freaked out. Now look what happened.

Brittany's POV

My head was spinning I ran into the hospital as fast as I could. My chest felt heavy, like I had just gotten punched in the face. I felt like I couldn't breathe, it was all my fault. See what drinking does to you? I don't regret it though, this happened for a reason. I just didn't know what this reason was.

-three hours later-

I was awoken by a nurse, she had informed me that Louis wanted to see me.

Louis's POV

I woke up and was connected to many different medical things. I had an IV in both arms, one was pumping blood into my right arm, the other was medicine.

My body ached all over and it was kinda hard to breathe. A nurse walked in and I spoke to her only above a whisper. "Where's....wheres Brittany?"

She sighed and walked out, a few minutes later Brittany walked in.

"Louis I'm so so so sorry, I didn't know a car was coming I didn't even mean to push you that hard I just, I was angry at Harry and then I felt weak and...."

"Shhhhh, it's ok, I'm alive aren't I?"

"Barely."

I looked at her face, I could see the streaks on her face from crying, her eyes red, nose puffy.

It was from then on that I realised she was a scared girl with pain, hidden behind a rebel. I longed to know more about her, and hopefully I would get to.

" It's ok Brittany. I'm gonna be fine..."

"Maybe." a doctor walked in as his eyes scanned over some papers on his clipboard.

"W-what do you mean?" I asked shocked.

"Your brain is swelling every second, soon it's gonna kill you, we have to get your parents consent to operate."

"I'll go call them." Brittany said quietly leaving.

"What is the one condition?"

"We don't know if the operation will work, it can cause memory loss and hallucinations, that is if it doesn't completely work. What happened was your head was hit off the underside of the car, causing a minor crack, that crack is giving your brain room to move, or swell."

"Do the operation." My dad was standing in the doorway, with my mum and Brittany.

"Ok just sign here, your operation will be in an hour."

My mum had tears streaming down her face as she strode over to me and held my hand. My father looked worried, but I knew I would be fine. Brittany just looked empty, lost.

We sat around and I explained what happened, Brittany's mum came to pick her up and I went into my operation.

A/N

Ok don't kill me I did a double update because I can never get wifi anymore.

The wifi at my school isn't working.
