"Garcia! You're due in eight!" The set assistant yelled at her, speeding in and out of her trailer faster than the time it took her to even process what she had been told.

The latina groaned, pausing the episode of Teen Wolf she had been rewatching. Season three was always one of her favourites to rewatch - especially because of Tyler's acting throughout - but mainly due to how incredible Dylan's portrayal of the Nogitsune had been.

She slammed her laptop shut, moving off her trailer couch and grabbing her sunglasses and cup of tea before heading out on to the concrete ground where her trailer rested. Rolling her eyes as she closed the door behind her, she felt a hand pluck her tea directly out of hers.

"Hailey, I have told you not to drink tea before you go on set - it'll stain your teeth," the firm voice confirmed her thoughts on who was standing outside her trailer waiting on her and she had to hold in an eye roll as she turned to face the woman.

When she had immigrated to the States with her dad from Cuba, her dream had always been to become an internationally known star. At the age of seventeen she began attending open interviews in LA, but she hadn't had much success in the entertainment industry until she met the woman. Having no memories of her mother, Hailey found that when she entered her life it was not just as her manager but almost like finding another branch of family.

Naomi Frances had understood the hardships of growing up without a parent, having lost her father at a young age. So while she had a connection with him and memories, she never would really understand Hailey not being able to have that connection with her mother since she left before Hailey could even speak.

Naomi had found Hailey at a hard point in both of their lives, the latina was about to give up on her dreams of acting and was facing the thought of needing to find a more stable career for a seventeen year old, and Naomi was facing the loss of her job if her clientele didn't start having better results. They found each other at their lowest, and that was enough for a strong professional and un-professional relationship to build upon.

"Can you just not-" Hailey started but sighed as she watched the polystyrene cup and its contents get dropped straight into the rubbish bin next to her trailer. "Never mind," she finished, pushing her sunglasses up her nose from where they had began to slip.

Naomi snickered to herself before heading up the stairs into Hailey's trailer. It was common for the agent to do this, she would treat herself to some wind down time while Hailey filmed, and when Hailey was winding down her agent would be setting up everything for the young starlet.

Hailey scoffed before rushing off to the soundstage.

The moment Hailey stepped foot on to the set that morning, she knew it was going to end in disaster - and she had been right. The girl had stupidly bargained for her to be allowed to start doing her own stunts; something Kat and the others had advised her against but she had ignored.

They had been filming a scene in which a vampire attacks the Shadowhunters, making her character go flying back twenty odd feet from the rough impact.

She had gone flying through the air like planned and practised, but the second her back collided with the crash mat she knew that somehow she had made a mistake during the stunt. She let out a cry of pain, causing Kat, Matt and Alberto to stop their small fight scenes that were part of the same fight and instantly jump out of their characters.

Hailey yelled out as she cradled her right arm and shoulder, any slight movement causing the girl to make more noise in pain. She could feel the skin around her arm getting wetter, and looking at her left hand the blood coating it was enough for her to spew her morning tea up on the mat next to her.

As Matt fell to the ground next to her along with the medics on hand, Hailey felt her vision get blurrier as she stared at the blood coating her hands.
