Warning!!!! - Mentions of blood, gore, and killing!!!!
The evil smirk that was plastered on your face only continued to grow the longer you thought about the mission you were assigned; find information on your target and take them out. Your target? None other than Hama Yoshikazu, a rival assassin of growing caliber.
Because this was your first mission, you were paired up with another beginner assassin being trained by someone named Korosensei. His name was Karma Akabane. You never liked sharing the glory, but you would prove to your teacher that you didn't need help to take down anyone who got in your way.
You had been practicing your blade movements when your teacher brought Karma in to meet you. You smiled innocently at him as you sheathed your knife.
"Hello, Karma-kun! I'm sure we'll make a great team! Are you ready for this?" you enthused cheerily, only to hear Karma groan.
"This is the famous bloodthirsty (Y/N) (L/N) I've heard about so much? She hardly seems to have a killer bone in her body, how could she have killed all those people she has claimed to?" Karma tsked. He turned to leave, mumbling something about not wanting to work with a goody-two-shoes.
You mischievously smirked as you saw his retreating figure as you pulled your knife out again. But this time, your target was the red-head before you. You quietly snuck up behind him before forcing him to his knees, pulling his dominant hand behind him and placing the blade at the base of his neck.
"If we weren't destined to work together, you would already be dead. You let your guard down because of how innocent I seemed. That, my friend, is how I have gotten all of those kills you have heard oh so much about," you whispered so deviously he almost thought you were trying to be seductive in his ear. You had him right where you wanted him.
You couldn't see his smirk that played on his face, but you could hear it when he spoke again. "This is going to be fun."
------------------------------------------------------You arrived outside of a small barber shop where Hama frequently visited. However, this was not in hopes of you finding him and being able to take him out today; no, this infiltration was purely for information. Karma didn't like that idea, but he was going to have to deal with it.
You were willing to allow them to cut your hair for the sake of getting information; Karma-kun, not so much.
"This is so stupid, why do we even need to know anything about him to kill him? I say we just find out when he has an appointment here, and catch him in that dark alleyway," Karma groaned as he pointed to the alley next to the store. You could see the bloodlust gloss over his eyes.
"Karma, control your thirst, or you'll give us away. People don't need to be assassins to think you are crazy. Plus, you already have a bad reputation around this town, and that's going to hurt the innocence factor," you sighed as lectured the red-head.
"Whatever, let's just take care of this. What kind of information are we looking for anyway?" Karma grumbled as he took in the cheery look of the building.
"Whatever we can get. Where Hama hangs out a lot, how long until he'll come here again, family, friends, anything. They talk about him quite a lot in here; I'm sure there will be plenty of information for us," you spoke.
"Well, I am not letting these people do anything to my hair," he sternly commented as he brushed a hand through his red locks.
"Fine, you don't have to. Just sit on the bench and keep your ears open," you glared at Karma. What kind of assassin would do his best to stick out like a sore thumb everywhere they went?
