After wandering for awhile I heard a small voice behind me.

“Hello,” The voice said, I decided to keep walking since nobody could see me “Hey, you, Mr. Plane Crash Victim,” It called

I turned around and saw a girl.

She was small, maybe five-foot-three-inches.  She also had a tiny figure.  She was wearing a baggy black sweater and the collar was too big so it fell over one shoulder.  Her skin was pale and her hair was platinum blonde with black chunks.  Her makeup was heavy and dark while her eyes stood out.  They were a magnificent shade of green.

She ran up to me.

“You’re an Unseen,” she said quietly.

I smirked “You obviously aren’t,”

It was eleven at night and the sky was dark.  A thick layer of fog covered the air, making every breath damp.

“Unfortunately, no” she said “I’m Cierra Kingson.”

“Cole Tyler,”

“It’s nice to meet you, Cole.” She began to pull her thick multi-coloured hair into a bun at the top of her head.

“How long have you been dead?” she asked

“How long have you been alive?” I responded

“Sixteen years” she said

“A few days,” I added

She stopped walking, so I stopped too.

“Were you on that plane that went down last week?” Her voice shook a little

I shrugged “yeah,”

She began walking again and I began walking as well.

“So, Cole, tell me about yourself.”

I thought for a moment.

“Well, I’m Cole.  I’m sixteen. I’m dead.  I used to have a sister named Estella who was my best friend.  I like computers and my favourite colour is black.”

“I’m Cierra. I’m sixteen. I’m dead and alive at the exact same time.  I don’t have any siblings. I like graveyards and my favourite colour is black.”

“Lots in common.” I say and look into her eyes.

She smiled at me “You know, you’re pretty attractive for someone who brutally died in a plane crash.”

I smiled and laughed a bit “Well, thanks.  I should probably get back to the Hospital,”

Cierra looked at me right in my eyes, I smiled, and started walking away.

“Wait, Cole,” She said just loud enough to get my attention “If you need a place to stay when you get out, just meet me at Bridgeton Park around three, you can stay at my house.”

“Thanks,”

Cierra smiled and I started walking away.

Cierra was perfect.
