Symbiont || Pokémon Short Story ✓

Author's Note

Thank you all so much for reading and supporting Symbiont, the short story collaboration by me and justcallme_b!! Words can't express how grateful we are to be able to work together and present our book to such a great audience.

This was a really challenging piece for the both of us. While we were given complete control over what we could write about for this month's PokémonWritingLeague competition, we chose a topic that was completely out of our comfort zones. Neither of us knew about Anabel before writing this, but her backstory was rather intriguing so we decided to give it a shot. Not to mention that Nihilego (UB-01 Symbiont) is a pretty cool Ultra Beast in our opinion.

Working with someone who's in a completely different country isn't easy, but we made it happen regardless. By splitting up parts of chapters and editing each other's excerpts, we were able to gain knowledge of the other's style and work it into our own. I think we can both agree that this was an experience that helped us grow as writers and will definitely assist us in the collaborations we have planned for the future (also it's good to know that Britney can write insanity very, very well).
