The Group (A youtube fanfic)

Chapter One

Youtube is my life. I may not have very many subscribers but my fans are the best. They support me, they love me, and they keep me going.

I have just over 200,000 subscribers.

This seems like a lot. It's just unimaginable to think that 200,000 people watch my videos.

I got an email last month from the manager of playlist live. They wanted me to tag along and be a guest!

This was so amazing as I could meet some if my subscribers and fans.

And then last week I got an email from VidCon saying they wanted me to join them, too!

I never realized my youtube career would take off like this.

I just started my youtube channel because my best friend Troye Sivan wanted me to. When his youtube channel hit 1 million subscribers he wanted me to try out in youtube too. So I did and at first it wasn't anything much. I decided my channel would be about beauty, Bethany Mota beating an inspiration. Every now and then I'd get a comment saying that my tips helped them, or that I was pretty. When I hit 100,00 I did a big beauty give away.

Over 1,000 people entered and that's when I realized I was going some where with this.

Playlist live begins in about a week. Ill be picking up Troye tomorrow morning at the airport.

Well get a hotel about 25 miles away in Orlando and that's where well stay until playlist begins.

Then, we'd get our playlist hotels.

I was emailed who would be staying in each room.

I'll be staying with Grace (DailyGrace), Zoe (Zoella), and Louise (Sprinkleofglitr).

Troye will be staying with Caspar Lee, Alfie (PointlessBlog), and Joe ( ThatcherJoe).

I began packing only after checking how the weather will be in Orlando the next week or so.

The report seemed fairly nice, so I packed shorts with one pair of jeans just in case it rains or gets cold.

I also stick to tank tops and t shirts again only bringing a small grey jacket.

When I'm finished packing, it's nearly 11 pm. I am not nearly as tired as I should be. I lay down on my bed and get my laptop. I am bored so I just scroll through the comments on my most recent video- a Taylor Swift inspired makeup look.

It has 127,894 views on it and around 7,000 comments.

I decide to text Troye and see if he was awake.

I text him:

Hey, you still up?

And me being as stupid as I am I forget were in different timezones.

He texts back:

Victoria you do remember it's almost noon here right?

I decide not to text back as I realize I forgot I missed the new episode of my favorite show The Walking Dead. I go onto On Demand and watch it.

That only kills about 45 minutes. I don't even get tired until it's almost 4 am.

St that point I realize I probably need sleep.

I wake up to the sound of me receiving a new text.

It's from Troye saying:

Hey were about to land in 20 minutes .
